Yes because acting is her passion. She was not doing it for the money, even though being well paid is a nice bonus. If she was doing it for the money, she would have quit years ago to pursue a normal stable career. She's been on this for about 2 decades, so that is definitely fuelled by passion.
The stakes are too high because she is getting married into a conglomerate family. Even marrying for love into such a family is very tasking on the person and their own family when they are not even nearly of the same status. That is not her world at all. And as you can see, her getting exposed has led to her and her family getting harassed. Then think about the fall out for her after this. Her career has not even yet taken off and the divorce could smear her name and prevent her from making it big in the future. She is not in her twenties, but her early thirties. 3 years from now would make her 35 and still in the shadows. 3 years is definitely too long for someone in her position. Her life could be on pause for that whole time.

He does not know that is the point. We know because we are the audience and know all the details and how AJ and DH are in a contract relationship, but he does not know that. To him, he's fighting feelings for his sister-in-law that is in love with his brother. And he's trying to move on from that.

You say this from your own pov obviously, but that is not the premise of the show.
I fully believe AJ is poor at decision making for her own self and she proved it in today's episode when she asked her sister if she was able to consider everything when making big decisions. She basically admitted that she did not think properly before deciding to sign away her life for 3 years. I said this last week, the only thing she gains from this contract is money, nothing else. It is too long and the stakes are too high and neither her nor DH actually thought this through properly in terms of the effects and the future consequences.
Anyway, one of the things they did not consider is romance. Do they really believe they won't meet their partners in the THREE YEARS they are married? Did they not think either of them would fall in love with someone and actually want to be with them?

And now that has come early for AJ and so is a reasonable issue to have. JH is not a mosquito to swat away or someone that she is uninterested in. She's swayed because she's slowly starting to realise the consequences of her actions, things she did not consider before and there is still time to change it.


Also, it has been very very obvious that JH has let go of controlling his brother for the most part. He has not even been addressing wanting to make him CEO and has been trying to give him and his fiancee space in his home too. So where did you see him being controlling again?

Hiding his sexuality has nothing to do with dating someone. Because he wants to hide that does not mean he will not date. It just means he'll do it in secret.
Also, JH is clearly not stringing CW along. She knows there is a slight chance and he even told her he is trying hard to get to that point. They have open conversations about this. We can see he made his choice to let AJ go and is trying everything possible to move on. So how is he stringing her along when he did not seek CW out and make many false promises to her?
If it seemed like the person you were in love with was unknowingly entering into a fraudulent situation, would you say it's not my business and then do nothing? If yes, then we'd have to question the sincerity of your affections. It is not that he is going to tell her his brother's secret, but that he just wants to save her from the situation.

They know who booked for the session. They can just forward the bill to his house address or the company. Or call him, which would be the easiest. He's a chaebol, so they are not at risk at all. If the dress is ruined, they know he can easily pay full price for it.

Yeah, I really want to see his pov. And his reaction to JH and AJ lmaoo. His face is already hilarious when they are acting crazy.

The person whose head I want to open and see the inside of is grandpa. I've been waiting to see his pov. But there is something I thought of today. I think he is the one that sent those photos to DH. And it was to make him come back for the succession he planned. You know DH only came back because of the pictures. And the show has suspiciously made him stop pursuing who had him followed. If it was any of his half-siblings or their dad that sent the reporter, they'd be using it as a bargaining chip in this succession war already. It definitely is not the reporter cuz he would have either outed him in an article or would be bargaining with grandpa with it. It is also not his ex because he appeared after seeing DH on the news. And obv, it's not JH. Also, the person that sent the pictures has been suspiciously silent after sending it. DH being revealed as the successor should have made whoever it is resume action because the person stands to gain more now.

I fully believe grandpa knows he is gay and that is why he accepted AJ as DH's spouse. Any female has to be good enough to cover for the actual situation. Plus points in them being besties for so long. So even if she knows going in, there is less fear of her outing him because she's been quiet the whole time and it would negatively impact her too.

Also, remember when grandpa said he knew everything that happened under his roof. He most likely found out when DH was younger.

I think he's afraid of making things big.

He's still firmly in the head space of being an ass lol. He sure is doggedly persistent and quite stubborn lol.

JH is truly out of his mind and AJ is his perfect match. It's just that I do not trust her decision making skills when it comes to what's best for her own life. Starting with signing that 3 year contract that is bound to ruin her life in terms of purpose and will only leave her richer. Then how her heart is betraying her head when it comes to her movements with JH.

Me wants to hire security for DH because if my scorned ex told me that, my next appointment would be with a private security company and then lawyers. When I have those in place, I'd approach said ex for a friendly conversation. Is he not scared?

What I'm waiting for the most is JH and AJ asking for permission to be together. I want to see the confusion lmaoo. Grandpa will just give up. DH will be so confused. The reactions of their families looool.

We're not saying what JH is doing is right. It is obviously crazy and is so starkly so, that we know we're going to see character development for it. We are looking at the intentions behind his actions. More than himself, JH loves his brother. Even those tiger moms loved their children, except those that practically gave birth just to use their kid as chess pieces for their own benefit. The problem has always been manner of approach, not intention, and it is JH's intentions I am defending. Even tiger moms went through character development in the stories because they had good intentions, but they had terrible ways of going about them.
It actually absolutely does not make sense for us to say that JH does not care about his brother and that he is doing all these things for his advantage. While his brother abandoned him in Korea for five years, he could have used all the effort and scheming we know he is capable of to cement his place in the company and keep him in the running for heir. His grandfather ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT have to like him for that to happen. he could have seduced CW and married her, thereby getting a huge backing that would be the cream on the cake of his already stellar reputation in the company. We can already see that being illegitimate is not the issue with grandpa.

Soo although JH would I believe, not mind running the company, he genuinely wants his brother to have it. these two things can be true at the same time. I sacrifice things I really really want, that I may have been anticipating for a while, for my sibling and parents all the time. Because I love them and I want them to be happy and satisfied.

The other thing is that we can see that is behaviours are like trauma response, but we're making too many conclusions when they have not told us the full backstories for everyone.

It'd have to be that for him to achieve his goal, but it doesn't say he would go ahead to sleep with her. And this is one of the ways he is diabolical in my terms.

Guys, please let's watch this show with a bit more understanding. There are things that are facts, that are flaws in the characters, but because it is storytelling, we know that they are going to go through character development. If you watch carefully, there is already a set up for that to happen. Although there is also a fear that some subtle things may not be properly addressed, but that's by the way.
JH is an arrogant controlling jerk, DH is selfish. Grandpa is also crazy tbh lol, but has a reason or two for the way he's been and the decisions he's made. These are facts. But then, for each of these characters I mentioned, there is a backstory to why they are behaving this way and that is yet to be fully revealed. Also, these are so glaring and are going to endure character development.
But the thing I want to say, hopefully I don't go crazy and comment on someone else's post, is about JH. The characters have said it, the writer and director have communicated it through character description, synopsis and even the mouths of the characters in the show. JH has been acting crazy, trying to get his brother the best of everything, including the company, and I believe this started when he was 12 at his elementary school graduation. This guy literally said that if his brother is to get something, he wants it to be the best and we are somehow ignoring that? For someone so arrogant, enough to make CW know he was tailing her, tell his brother's fiancée that he's going to seduce her to get her away from his brother and say many crazy things upfront, why would he be lying about his real intentions? Or do we want to believe half of what he says and not the other half to satisfy our own opinions?
Everyone has been saying he has been working hard to give his brother the company. He was meeting with rich heiresses to get them to marry his brother. With all the effort he put into supposedly giving his brother the company so that he can control him, he could have used that to help his own case directly because they are both illegitimate. Grandpa doesn't have to like him at all for that to happen. He just has to continue with his stellar reputation, something grandpa values because he disqualified the other legitimate siblings for their lack of it, and marry a powerful heiress like Chaewon. His wife's family can then apply all the necessary pressure to get him in the running for what he wants. We're acting like we've never watched historical dramas even. This is politics and grandpa is not a foolish businessman.

You can't really say that because even the Choi's father said JH was working hard to give the company to his brother.
Also, grandpa's reasoning hasn't even yet been explained. That's something I'm waiting for

He said he was going to make her fall in love with him and dump her. He also said it to her face. He never said he was going to sleep with her.
ALSO, I believe JH is practically diabolical in some of the things he does. He is also a jerk and quite unhinged. But I recognise that his behaviour is in response to his childhood and the full picture they haven't yet shown us. I also recognise the changes he's already made and see that he was not all bad and can see how all these are a recipe for future character development, that has already started.
Calling him a piece of trash is denying all the good parts, the reasons for some of the bad parts and his potential for change.

If he seduced Chaewon and married her, his grandfather would most definitely be forced to acknowledge him. It's like not acknowledging your grandchild that is married to the sole heir of Samsung. Even if that man is not compassionate, he's not a foolish business man.
And if he really was trying to use his brother without caring about him at all, he would have gone this route. He already has a stellar reputation in the company and purposely volunteered to go to the marines and did volunteer work to boost his image against his step siblings, so he can make a good case for himself. Marrying her would be the absolute deal breaker. If nothing else, her family could pressure the grandfather into promoting him until he left the company to him because it would be insulting that their daughter married him in a humble position with all the wealth and power she is bringing to the table. Grandpa was already willing to give the company to an illegitimate child, so that's now not an issue. His issue with JH is personal and in the face of the other things I just mentioned, it's irrelevant.
