You are the only person who truly watched the drama and underst it well. The rest who commented rubbish here,…
I feel like many people do not really digest the entirety of what is presented on screen, especially the small moments or brief comments that help to paint a fuller picture, and it's sad because it makes characters very misunderstood.

yes ,couldnt have said better myself , honestly with the additon of the "mystery man " at the end of ep4 confrotning…
It is truly at risk and they need to sit down and talk. But DH needs to open up to his brother for it to be a successful conversation where JH lets up on being very pushy. AJ also needs to smack sense into DH for him to open his eyes and see what his younger sibling has sacrificed for him.

JH is old enough to take care of himself. DH has his own stuff to deal with.
I agree. But if my brother is throwing his life away to fight for me to have the best of everything, I would not practically abandon him because it's not my wish. Especially when I know the immense guilt he is carrying that is making him act that way.

Lastly, JH said he did all that so as to not be a stain on their record. To look better to their grandfather. He did not want to drag his brother down. It's an act of saying that even though we are illegitimate, we do not have any other flaws that will cause you problems.

Now I'm going to stop responding to you because this comment just tells me that you aren't actually digesting the things they are showing you in the show. But-
JH worked his way to deputy team leader in two years. His team mates even said the team leader should be kissing his feet because he works so hard and makes impossible things possible, that make the team leader look good. That guy used his persistence and wits to get holdouts his predecessors had given up on, to sell their land to him, in 2 years. They show and tell some of his achievements at work, but they do not have to list every single thing he has done. And he has been working there for a few years. He got recruited at 26 and he's 28 now. What are you expecting?

Is Jihan child or what who needs constant caring and protection from his family?? And whats with responsibilty…
Like I said, the reporter was for Chaewon. Even Chaewon told DH that on the plane and JH told DH that when he asked him. Why would he need a reporter to tail DH from the airplane to the arrival terminal of the airport? Is that not a useless job since he'd see him soon anyway? Did he suspect that his brother was coming back home with a woman and wanted to see the woman two hours before he arrived with her on their doorstep? The reporter captured DH because he was with a strange woman, in the course of photographing CW for him. Remember that CW was behind DH in coming out through arrivals. Even she was taken aback seeing DH with AJ.

Oh and the age difference is 4 years. Not hardly 2/3. And we're not really saying that he should have stayed in Korea to protect him like he was a child, but he should have come back earlier or visited from time to time so that they could present a united front to be safe. But in such a situation, what is wrong with expecting the older favoured sibling to at least act as some type of shield for the younger? Even with the step siblings, they are presenting a united front and working together to help themselves. JH is all alone where he is hated and thinking that is okay is a problem.

Also, DH only came back because of the pictures that threatened to out him as being gay. He came back to protect himself. Not because he missed his brother or anything, but to find out who was trying to blackmail him. He was enjoying his romance abroad, with his brother in Korea, unable to even visit him if he wanted to because he refused to tell him his address. That's bloody ridiculous.

Yes, a lot of people have skimmed through all these things apparently..
I hope they address these things in the character development arcs. It'd be crazy of it goes unaddressed till the end.

How ji han is a piece of trash?
I don't think you are watching this well. JH is very pushy, but it's like a trauma response. He's not doing all this for his benefit, because if he wanted control of the company through his brother, he'd be acting in a much different way. It'd be like watching the Impossible heir 2.0. If he wanted the company for himself, he would not be putting in all this effort to make his brother shine. He's literally trying to show Chaewon that his brother is a good catch to marry, instead of trying to seduce her for himself. Don't you think that would have been the easier and smarter thing to do? How would giving your brother the best spouse in terms of money and power in the country, benefit your cause when you could just seduce her and get her to marry you, and so force your family and the board members to recognise you, plus your clean record and your achievements in the company?
You are also not taking into consideration what it means to be him or DH in that household. Imagine what would happen to him and his brother once one of their siblings took control.

You can say the same thing for JH. JH has his own stuff to deal with, but he puts all his energy on making sure that his brother is doing well, and he is the bloody younger sibling. DH ran away to another continent for 5 years, living in comfort and everything, but he could still spend family money and came back and was handed the company on a diamond platter without having to do jack shit, why? Because his younger brother worked his ass off to make sure to stay in grandpa's good books and to make sure there was no dirt the board could bring up to soil their names. All while being the only grandchild that is still unacknowledged.

He's not spying on his brother. He rather sent a reporter to tail Chaewon, something she was aware of. He even told his brother that he never gave him his NY address, so how could he spy on him? This last statement even validates the argument that he is selfish. He abandoned his younger brother in a den of wolves FOR FIVE YEARS, to protect himself. THAT IS SELFISH. Especially when HE KNEW that his brother was living with trauma over what happened to their parents and that he was living his life to protect him and give him the best, when he is THE OLDER ONE.

JH is not a piece of trash. At least he is very upfront about his intentions. He has a lot to learn, which he is, but you can't expect people to be perfect. Especially not in storytelling. That's the point of character development arcs.

I just have to say it. Do Han is actually quite selfish. Ji Han is very pushy in trying to get his brother to do things he thinks are best for him, but at least we can see that he has his brother's well being as priority. Do Han escaped to NY and left his brother in that den of wolves, knowing his trauma, knowing how he is being treated. I already noticed all these things by yesterday, but in today's episode, when he came out of the house and saw the cut on his little brother's face, a cut that was not there even 10 minutes ago, he said absolutely nothing. I lost it at that point.
At least care past the superficial things that this guy doesn't need. He has sacrificed his whole life, and is giving his dream to his brother because their grandpa acknowledges him even less. We don't know the full back story, but it feels like JH has been trying to compensate for the past, something that should not have been his burden, especially from so young.
Even the contract marriage proposal he made to NJ was ridiculous. Everything she said to refute it was true. It'll ruin her life. And the time frame he suggested, THREE years, took me aback when he first said it. Other contract marriage dramas usually suggest anywhere from 3 months to 2 years tops. He was thinking of how things would be settled for HIM in that amount of time, but not how much destruction it'd cause for her. She'll be 35/36 at the end of it for goodness sake. How is she meant to recover at that time? What of her dream of becoming an actress? With how much of herself she has poured into this dream for almost two decades, I'd say that money is not enough to replace this dream when the time is up and she has to go back to real life.
Maybe it's because it is fiction, but is nobody thinking of all these things?

Seriously, wtf was up with that bathtub scene. Do you really think a couple of hardcore gamer chicks are going…
I've not watched it yet, but the fl dresses girly. She's very feminine, but with a temper. Why won't she like bubble baths and wine? Even if she wasn't very feminine, why won't she like bubble baths and wine? It's a nice way to relax for anyone.

Am I weird for not finding it romantic at all to get money or a bank card as a gift? And although I enjoy the…
There is an explanation I read on twitter about how LYY behaves and I think it's easier for those that read the novel to understand, but you can also see it in the drama. LYY has been alone his whole life. His parents died early, and while still in primary school, he had to take care of his younger brother that was in elementary school. He most likely wasn't even up to 10 years old then. Then his aunt and uncle adopted his brother after a year, but did not take him in. The first time he said that, I was shocked. Like why take one brother and leave the other when you're even biologically related? Was he so undesirable?
Then Mr He was like a father to him, but he had a falling out with him and after a while, left the country to a foreign land. This man practically has no family. He grew up alone and had only his talent and pride. So he is unimpressed with his background and does not think he has much to offer. So he treats YG like she is a very precious rare gem. He's pouring all the love and consideration he can to her. And you can see it in how he is very frugal with himself, but he hates the thought of her suffering or bearing any inconvenience.
Giving her his prize money from his first championship, his comeback after over a decade, something that happened because of her, is actually very very meaningful.

Yeah, it's a bit of a stretch, but with the setting of the character, what I explained, it makes it acceptably believable. At least to not make you do a full face smack lol.
