Finally someone badmouthing Yang Yang! π It feels like he has his own personality and that's all the director wants. No need to actually blend into a role. Literally "just be yourself" types π Also true thing about Lee Jong Suk's dry lips ~
I can pretty much guess why a masterpiece like Coffee Prince received a lower rating. But I'll focus on some others for now:
(1) The Naked Director - An average salesman who becomes a pioneer of the Japanese Porn Industry in the 1990s. Not something everyone would feel drawn towards. But the extremes of this show and the storyline have been explained so well considering it's based on a true story. It's a black diamond many people are still unaware of.
(2) Marriage Contract - Typical Contract Relationship. Typical Poor mom and daughter. Typical Rich man. Everything is typical. But you will cry.....you will cry hard watching this show. Something we all need once in a while.
(3) Moon Embracing the Sun - Okay who gave this a lower rating?? Isn't METS quite a popular show? I see a lot of folks not being able to connect after the Time Leap or just find it depressing (which it is supposed to be). But, oh well, the more popular a show is, the more flak it will receive as well.
I didn't go through it (except the headlines) because I avoid every kind of spoiler, but you've categorized it and designed it so well, I understood what kinda show it is βΊοΈ so I'll add it
Otsukaresama deshita π I've seen how less attention Jdramas get on feeds. These efforts always help ππΌ Although my love for Japan comes from animes, I've seen the potential of Jdramas and want to keep discovering good shows. This article and your story especially gave me a boost π€βπΌ
If you can't think of anyone, that means you have watched all A-list actors shows :P
I enjoyed your profile π you're hilarious
