Personally, I think he's getting better and better each drama. The stand out performances in TWD have come from senior actors and WXY. While I hated the poison aspect of the story. He's the only one amongst the younger cast proficient enough to pull it off convincingly.

Great role for Zhenni. She's really shining in it 💕💕.

Thanks. It's okay. Sometimes, there is a cross-over between dates, and that's why I list two dates. You can't exactly be sure when it was filmed, but the approximate is fairly accurate. I essentially do two sweeps, one before bed (= first reuters coming out) and a second the next morning (= completing the reuters collection). I'll also peek at intervals throughout the day when I have time and add anything new or interesting 😁.

Appreciate this because it makes it faster and easier when they pop up in the MDL comments 😇. Do you want me to add them to the collection or are you fine with them here underneath?

Yes, I think so, too. 

She plays shy, nervous, and a little awkward extremely well. When you do something well, don't be surprised when directors ask you to repeat it. I just hope she pushes back if they try and do it too much. 

AASOL (I consider this primarily a pure romance with some dramatic elements), for me, got it spot on because, as time went on, their comfort and confidence with each other grew. That's the trajectory I like in these love stories with slow and awkward beginnings. OG, imo, got caught between life drama and romance, and at some point, I felt that they needed to pick a lane and stay in it because they weren't succeeding at trying to do both. In the end, the deep emotions and heart-warming inspiration typically experienced in LDs just wasn't there. Neither was the euphoria and jubilation you feel when the on-screen couple in a romance overcomes the obstacles to be together. 

OG just wouldn't let them love 😭. Even in the final episodes, it deprived the audience of this satisfaction. I thought they were going to have a romantic dinner together. No, HK landlord guy is there giving a speech about how skyscrapers and rainbows aren't permanent, and love is the real stuff. A wedding scene. Surely this will be special. No, the younger versions of themselves crash it, and they talk about love rather than engaging in it. For some reason, the writers felt the need to overexplain the love between the characters. They really needed to back off and let the actors do the work. It's the performers who sell love in a visual medium. 

I'm glad some people really enjoyed it. But, it just wasn't compatible with me.

 I'm curious to see what Mai Mai delivers in SOM.

Going to watch the newly released episodes tomorrow. Really hoping he doesn't end up poisoned again. Lol.

Completed AASOL and OG. Overall, I loved AASOL except for that ridiculously cringe love confession scene at the tournament. That scene was like nails on a chalkboard. It killed the immersion. Unrealistic and unnecessary. Then, it got back on track, and it was a great ride home. I really enjoyed their slow-burning relationship growth from nervous first encounters to something more mature and beautiful. As for OG, I'm sorry, but I hated it. I couldn't believe it was the same couple from TPR. I really hope next time we see her in a romance we get to see her feisty side. I'd love to see her smoulder like she does at events and award shows rather than be pigeonholed as a nervous and shy type.
