This is such a brilliantly paced drama. 22 episodes completed effortlessly. Now, I need to go and prepare myself for the upcoming pain 😭. The truth is a beautiful thing.

So good 💞💞💞

Because if you think CY dramas are often slow to be released. Hongyi dramas are on another level again. Combine the two and you'll be waiting for eternity.

I'm confident he'll hold his own and won't be overshadowed. He was actually the match of the outstanding senior performers in TWD. Not the best drama, but the performance is top shelf.

Episode 19 was so GOOD. It had a bit of everything. Great acting from our leads, and the supporting cast, too. I'm also intrigued by YCE's character and what direction he will take.

I loved her in MJTY. However, his performance could potentially be my favourite from LYX. I'll have to wait and see. Can they stick the landing and finish strongly? So far, so good.

That drama will sit in the vault for a 1000 years.

I quite like an OS. We get to go on a journey together, and nobody has any idea how things will turn out.

It's solid. I didn't enjoy it as much as TBOY, but it's still a pretty decent stand-alone drama. The ending is a little mixed. Some sadness, but overall happy.

Looks like it should air in 2026...

Prediction: LYX's upcoming bath scene 🛁 with Neo 💞 will top her MJTY bath scene 🥰 .

Here's a recent one from last year...

Dashing Youth (2024)

This drama just keeps getting better and better. Neo has given us a little bit of everything with his performance. I'm even enjoying the villains in a love / hate kind of way. Lol 😆.

Hehe. Baggy suit. It's great seeing him getting his hands dirty in a project not concerned about striking a balance between acting and looking pretty. This will purely be performance focused.

No, I haven't seen BTU. It looks right up my alley. I've added it to my WL. As I mentioned in the comment above, I enjoy both long-form and short-form crime dramas as they tend to focus on slightly different things with some overlap.

I added TF as well. WJY is such a superb actress. I see Huang Jue has a main role, too. He stole the show for me in LOZH. Marquis Ping Jin is one of my favourite villains in Cdrama. An absolute warrior of a character.

Yes, Tian Tian was first choice. That's why it wasn't really surprising that Ai Mi was second. The creative team were clearly looking for someone in this age bracket. Julia Xiang was also rumored alongside DLW.

Thanks. We will have to wait and see. There are advantages to both. Longer crime dramas give you time to delve into the psychological elements of the criminal mind, and those that pursue them. You can also explore the toll on the victims, their families, and wider society as a whole. While shorter dramas are incentivised to have an intense focus on crime solving, the cat and mouse / pursuit aspect of an investigation. Either way, I'm ecstatic with this role choice. It's a well deserved opportunity for him (WXY).

It's great seeing that MDL rating going up 👏 .

Thanks for those lists. I've seen a few Light On dramas. And, by the looks, a few of those HBT dramas as well. Lol. I wasn't even aware.

I'm hoping this will be a longer crime drama. The longest I've seen is Reborn (2020) with 28 episodes. I believe The Knockout (2023) has 39. Fingers crossed.

Yep. There's definitely some TBG DNA 🧬 in this drama. Really enjoying it. Neo and LYX are knocking it out of the park.
