Detailing my love of the achievements of the past, and hate of the failures and missed opportunities of today. I'll try to keep it from becoming a novel 😉. This mostly applies to Western cinema. The longer he remains poisoned, the higher the probability of his death. Tbh, I like my works of fiction to have an underlying element of realism. Typically, that means I like the outcome to reflect the actions and decisions made by the characters within the story. I'm not a big fan of the Christmas miracle type of ending. In stories where a main character neglects their health, I find it easy to accept death as an outcome. MLC, TSOPG, and SNTL are all examples of deaths that were easy to accept given the choices made. Even if it did bother a lot of other people. I don't think many on MDL see it that way. So, expect the rating to get hammered if that is indeed the outcome.

Usually, it seems you have to do your time complementing the FL, or sharing time before you get to do male-centric roles. Yang Yang and Xiao Zhan are at this stage now. But, I really wish C-ent would see what they have in WXY. He just oozes a big man's presence. He doesn't need to grow into it. He's already there. The face, the voice, the body, and the carry. He has the ability to authoritatively fill the space when he's onscreen. When they do original scripts, they should write them around him or with him in mind. His agents and the production companies should be forwarding projects to him with an understanding of what he brings to the table.

The biggest issue with TWD is the forcing of the FL into an equal role. Her character could've been written as a brilliant compliment (Duke Su, for example, was such a compliment in a female-led story), but instead they forced the poison troupe to give her an unnecessary equal status. Now she is the sole possessor of physical strength and combat ability. Totally unnecessary. As a compliment, she already has an important role to play as she is someone with legal authority in the world, and regular status as a citizen. She's his valuable asset on the inside. While he is a fugitive with no such rights or authority. That's enough, they didn't need the poison. As they search for the truth of Yesha, she operates in the light looking for answers, and he operates in the shadows looking for answers. Then, they combine what they've learned in these different jurisdictions and move closer to the truth. As a fugitive, he would also have the ability to bend the rules, but would need to fall back on a moral compass to help guide him from venturing too far. The FL's character should play an essential role here in keeping him from wading too far into the darkness and losing any hope of coming back. Unfortunately, they took the lazy option and removed his physical strength, and rendered him in a state of poor health. They weakened him to prop her up. It's just simply cheap and lazy.

I'm still loving the show, btw. But, I'll always point out missed opportunities.

Tik Tok is the global version of China's Douyin. Every country has different regulations, so certain sites may be inaccessible in some countries (I can access all three in mine). I'll post a mixture of the three to try and provide something for everybody. I can even search YouTube if it helps.

Yes, I did say bts only. I'm trying to be fair and unbiased. But it's just so hard. Each new round of reuters you post convinces me more and more that he's the Gable of C-ent. That big man presence is undeniable. It's perfect for any production with a romantic component and made to be paired with strong FLs so they can bounce energy off of each other. LIRD is shooting up my most anticipated list, and it's not even close to releasing a trailer. It's all due to the strength of this backstage chemistry. I can't get enough. In my mind, I'm already putting it ahead of dramas on my watchlist that have brilliant trailers to back them up.

Yes, XRH is on my wider following list now. Her energy has been infectious backstage. I couldn't resist. So, I will actively seek out her new projects and sweep her Weibo and Douyin content from time to time. I will also seek out her past productions in quiet times between live dramas. You can expect me to be peeking in on her MDL page for updates, too 😁.
