Obviously. The point is simple. Constructive criticism has value. Hateful criticism has none.

I'm suggesting the post has value and is presented as constructive criticism or feedback. Had the post been given as part of a survey in a pre-release screening, it would have been exactly the type of feedback desired. Criticisms that are carefully considered and laid out in detailed fashion should always be appreciated as they don't come from a place of hate, but rather from the position of wanting things to improve. Don't lump them in with the "This is dumb" type of comments.

Brilliant comment. Well-thought-out, and articulated. No one should be unhappy about a comment like this that provides detailed and constructive criticism while acknowledging the strengths of an industry / production. This is good feedback that, if seen by the right people, can lead to improvement.

I'm not sure that I'm enjoying Feud as much as I thought I would. I need this drama now. How do I summon it and make Youku air it next? Save us, Xingyue!

MM had much more content (events / things happening) per episode. It was so entertaining. My only complaint about MM was the fact that pretty much every character died in the same fashion, delivering a long death speech. Lol.

They better give Chen Xinhai a love interest in this story. I'm tired of seeing him as the sad third wheel.

Agreed. It has happened now, and it has to run its course. Proving it's sometimes better to keep certain things private rather than share them on SM and have it interpreted the wrong way. A painful lesson is being learned.

On talent alone, she deserved every role she got. Her ability should never be questioned and simply dismissed as nepotism. She is a very advanced actress for her age.

PS... There was even speculation recently that the reason Ai Mi removed her necklace at the airport was due to this incident.

No, but tbh a 07 liner getting main roles like this is a little bit sus... I have been watching cdramas for a…
Huangyang Tian Tian has been in the industry for about as long as Ai Mi. Both started as child actors, and both are amongst the top standout performers of their age group. Both boast impressive resumes with many works in film and serial dramas between them. Many actresses in their twenties can't claim the same.

They even starred in a film together called "Beating Heart" (released in 2022). Decent film, well worth a watch. It really showcases the talent of both young actresses.

There is a chance HYTT's lead role push is not necessarily nepotism, but rather a talent-based decision. You acknowledge her skill, and it needs to be remembered she is one year older than Ai Mi. So, her getting a slightly earlier push makes sense. Ai Mi herself seems to be entering a phase where she will be pushed. The movie "Break Through" (2024) had Ai Mi listed as third lead (MDL lists her role as support, but I don't think that's right). And, "Above the Wall" will be her debut as a lead in a serial drama. This really isn't a new phenomenon; Jinmai was doing lead roles at seventeen as well.

In the end, even if the parents are guilty of something, I still hope there is a pathway in acting for HYTT. It would be a real shame to see such a talent deprived of the opportunity to develop into something truly special. We would all be poorer for it.

Oh, that sounds much better than having the episodes cut. Agree with others that 24 episodes is perfect for romance…
I just want creators in the world of C-Drama to master the art of matching content to episode total. Let's be honest, costume dramas are the worst offenders when it comes to not being able to fill 40 episodes with interesting / engaging content.

Yes, everyone should support the nurturing and development of special talents / gifts. Be it - acting, dancing, writing, painting, design, swimming, athletics, table tennis, engineering, mathematics, CS, physics, or business, etc.

Huangyang Tian Tian (hopefully she overcomes the recent scandal), who is only one year older, has already been doing lead roles. Ai Mi, who starred with her in the film "Beating Heart" (2022), is ready for the next step, too.

I even think shows with implied romantic interest are acceptable. No kissing, obviously. But in the same fashion as her roles in MJTY and FOF with Zuo Ye. All implied and demonstrated by good acting. No physical contact scenes required. People have gone silly and think love is only believable with kissing scenes. Another good example of implied romance is ZJM and Lin Yi's relationship in "The Blessed Girl" (2021). Jinmai was only seventeen at the time of filming. There is no kissing or adult-style physical contact, just good acting and strong chemistry between the leads. It's enough to sell their love.

I agree, I can't wait for this drama. It's such an exciting step forward for a super-talented young actress with a bright future ahead. I've lost count of the times I've thought to myself, she's actually effortlessly exhibiting a better range of facial expressions than some of the leads.

Yes, this will be a great role for her. She's one of a small handful of top talents post 05 who have demonstrated ability well beyond their years. She has the potential to be something truly special.

She should never be forced to do something she doesn't want to do or be put in compromising positions. But she also shouldn't be held back and cast in roles beneath her ability that hinder her development.

Were people attacking Ai Mi for this drama as well, like they did with her rumoured involvement in the drama Love Travels Through Time?

I'm hoping for something like what was done with the 2ML in MM. In the beginning I found him annoying, but later he became one of the characters I cheered for the most.

Title What a Wonderful World Spoiler
The brief scenes with his sister in episodes 7 and 8 were also extremely moving when viewed together in context.…
Yes, this brilliant drama did so much with so little (8 episodes). Even the tiniest interactions were impactful, conveyed deep messages, and stirred the emotions. There are intricate details embedded within this masterpiece of visual storytelling that stay with you long after the final episode. The way the drama put us in the fog of confusion and then gradually lifted that fog and moved us towards clarity and understanding, which was synchronised perfectly with Xu Tian's treatment period in the hospital and his release back into society.

I hope this drama builds momentum over time and is rediscovered over and over again. It really is something special. Even if it's not fully appreciated now, it's the type of project that may find that appreciation in the future. Think "Night of the Hunter" (1955).

I have a feeling that I will be haunting this comment section to let those who may have doubts due to the rating know that this drama is indeed more than worth it, and a wonderful experience awaits.

PS... I need to stop being lazy and leave a review. WAWW deserves it.
