Haha... I have seen several other worst medical drama including Medical Top team and Emergency Couple. They were…
yes! my pleasure.
1. Code Blue- Season 1, Special Ep, Season 2, Season 3, The Movie, Spin-off ( I put in order for you to watch) - about emergency medical service and doctor heli (by helicopter). highly recommended drama bcus the casts are really well-known actors now (first season in 2008 and last installment; the movie is in 2017). A movie level of emergency cases.
2. Doctor X Season 1-6, Special episode - about God-level sassy female lead who never fail in surgery +hospital politics (diff cases every episode)
3. Alice No Toge (more towards a revenge drama) , mainly revenge btw
4. Good Doctor (remake from korean drama) -autistic doctor
5.Black Pean - a genius- super doctor who doesn’t care about anyone but only want to save the patients, + issue on technology in medical business. (Surgery drama)
6. A life; Kanashiki Hito - family, first love thingy but they matured and already older now.
7. Ishitachi no Renai_Jijou : Doctors' affair - two leads who are very dedicated in their career as doctors and found love. (Outpatient and general surgery)
8. Kounodori (Dr Storks) Season 1 and Season 2- about obgyn (birth, pregnancy ward and neonatal care)- my personal fav too bcus babies!!
9. Radiation House - about the technician handling xray, mri, ct scan and such (I'm sorry that I dont understand much about this profession). An interesting uptake on medical profession aside from normal medical dramas
thats all I could think about right now haha I'm sorry it's 3am and I couldnt think straight. Btw all these dramas are just max 12-13 episodes. It’s well executed and some dramas doesnt have any romance at all (purely career-based) unlike kdramas hahaha.
this storyline aint much to my liking BUT damn though, Lee Sungkyung is a whole new level kind of actress. How the hell that she got that pretty face, a tall physique, a great modelling career, fun actress, play musical instruments, could dance better than some idol AND HAVE A FREAKING GOOD VOCALS LIKE IN THIS DRAMA. life is totally unfair, I download all versions of her singing clips from this drama bcus her voice is just too good.
Underrated???? NO! looool It had very high viewership ranking in the top 2 almost every episode, with the finale…
underrated internationally? this drama always got listed and included as #1 for medical kdramas of all time. It's not underrated at all. It is well received and trending among kdrama fans, internationally.
Back in April, a netizen encounter Han Seok Kyu and asked about season 3. Han Seok Kyu said the filming for season…
uuuuuuuu it would be great to have a neurosurgeon in the next season. If it does happen, who do you think would suit to play that character? (sorry I'm just excited when people are anticipating a new season for this drama!).
I personally would love to have Lee Jongsuk bcus he is so extra cool in Doctor Stranger.
Haha... I have seen several other worst medical drama including Medical Top team and Emergency Couple. They were…
HAHAHA I am a fan of medical drama too, (especially japanese medical dramas) and i wholeheartedly agree that Medical Top Team and Emergency Couple (bcus of their romance plot who ruined the medical aspects) are the worst ones,
I dont think this drama is underrated at all. it's gathered enough attention when it was aired back then though. It's not overrated but definitely not underrated at all.
Thats not true, if you had seen by now, she wasn't meticulous or that kind of bitch.
I re-watching this drama and get hooked up bcus of the second female lead's character. Her characterisation is actually really interesting if you observed and analyzed closely. she instantly become my fav character after that; it's complicated but reasonable.
If someone is telling me in 2010 that 2PM maknae's Chansung and SNSD's Sooyoung gonna act together in kdrama about an idol life, I would just laugh it out loud bcus it's just funny to think about it. but now, in 2021, everything seems possible. They really have grown up.
edit: in addition, they shouldve cast a better second female lead. she is such too way off.
I wonder what the rating would be if it had aired in 2018-19 loll
still the same I guess? bcus this is not even a 2015+ storyline haha it's so outdated and just good to be read as webtoon (as guilty pleasure). Even as actor, both leads havent blown up too big. Their impact and popularity are just same as they were in 2018 and now 2021.
its a kdrama not a cdrama its totally korean and not chinese
yes, I agree that the chinese version of the drama aired first years ago BUT the storyline is based on KOREAN webtoon lol. even the main actor of the chinese version is a korean.
I will never understand how this got so popular...
bcus of lead's chemistry that went off thru the roofs and get trended in every single episodes, in Korea and Internationally. There you go... thats the main reason why it gets really popular.
This drama is the kind of drama that gets adapted based on a novel, so please expect a lot of cliche cheesy lines and scenes here and there. What with people commenting about being annoyed with those scenes? it's just a simple cheesy romcom. That's how it's supposed to be.
If you're looking for serious romance with a solid storyline, go and find kdrama that is based on the original writing of the writers. Stay away from novel/manga/webtoon adaptation dramas bcus you cannot escape from this kind of storyline.
this drama is a perfect example of a total cliche love troupe cdrama, with a low budget.
But surprisingly, this low-budget drama garnered enough attention in China and managed to trend in 2020; which lead to the 2nd installment of the drama (with the same exact plot and cast but now with a higher budget and sponsors). It's one of the trending modern romcom chinese dramas for quite a while in 2020.
just like me, once in a while, sometimes we would love to watch very obvious cliche dramas, bcus why not?
EXCUSE THE CREEP PLOT TWIST ASIDE, this drama is actually decent enough if you've read te manhua version.
This drama is really suitable to binged-watch. Their kid is extremely cute and plays a huge role as key factor in the lead relationship. Thanks Youyou for coming into your parents' lives and help them out.
If anybody saw the thai 2016 version can you pls spoil me if something like that happened with the ml in the last…
I watched both version but just wanna say that they only have basic plotline as the similarities. The execution of the directing, the characterisations are all very, very different. the overall genre is also very differ.
and if you havent watch much japanese drama or even know much about japanese culture, it's totally unfair to generalize them as not good in acting.
(and even Shuri won an award too. )
