Waiting for almost a year for this drama is worth it. Love this one for Yuxi and Shuxin! Their comical scenes are funny and natural. + even their behind the scenes are so natural and comfortable— the biggest yes for a drama. Love how theyre being fun and get easy going with each other.

At least we dont get a damsel in distress FL bcs Chu Li can stand up for her own and is a smart girl on top of that! + Zhou Chan who supposed to be cold/mean but is actually a comedic clumsy author hahahahaha

Regarding her voice, thats her real voice in real life hahaha but maybe they raised the pitch a lil bit during dubbing session bcus Shuxin/Esther also use low pitch when she is in serious professional mood. She’s not all the time sounded like that. So dont worry much, that sounds natural in my ear (bcus I’m too used listening to her voice hahahaha)

spoiler ahead but love when the ML already fall in love so damn early in a drama which is quite rare in most dramas.

“It’s 2021 and theres still these kinds characters” oh please this drama is based on a novel. + this is a mainstream genre for Chinese drama. Thats how they work for ratings.

I’m totally okay if he is back as supporting role (with a girl pair, not triangle love) if the character is good. I dont want his acting potential to be wasted. It’s okay to try many other kind of acting. He is not idol actor who need to straight up only served as lead once get the chance. So, challenge himself with a more diverse role would be a better decision for now, well he is still young!!!

this is a melodrama who suits the theme “healing”. So if youre looking for a drama with intense plot, packed with action kinda thingy, this is not for you.

This is kind of drama that woman in 30’s can relate and vibe to. The kind of which people who love Books can relate to. I really enjoyed the quotes and saying at each ending scenes for each episodes. It’s fresh and eye opening. A good drama to watch, even when I had to wait for another week for a new episode, it’s fine.

Lee Nayoung is well known as Lee Jongsuk’s ideal type since his early acting/model career tho. So, no it’s not weird for him. + she is a married woman (who last drama was in 2010-2011) maybe thats why people are seeing differently

the main golden and precious thing from this drama is Lee Jongsuk’s acting as Park Hoon. This is really one of his most dynamic character; he is goofy, serious dude, emotional wreck, extremely gifted surgeon and a loving partner. His crying scenes are just top notch. His silly scenes are just funny. He is just really good in switching mood for each scene.


The plot is kinda unstable with two unstable female lead that doesnt help much to the cast. But Park Hoon’s character brings life and make this drama watchable. Special mention to Park Haejin who charismatically did a great job here with his character.

“11 years older in real life” but Jo Boah is already a 29 years old woman. Youre picking up a wrong example here.

If youre watching it in 2013, waiting a week for another ep..... no. It’s not obvious. Back then, this drama is trending bcus of the plot and acting. They won tons of awards for this one. Your current opinion is influenced by later dramas.

If you are a fan of medical drama, especially Japanese medical drama ( theyre quite different from Korean Medical Drama bcus Japanese Medical Drama involves a lot of political issues/ research issues in hospital while Korean more to including romance into the plot)

Shuxin is basically there to boost the noise and attention to this show haha as expected, they need her.

Yes, Esther is too noticeable + the popularity gap is too huge to be ignored. Even saw comments that they should use someone else as guest role bcus she is too eye catching (for headlines and news regarding the drama)

Hahaha I even skipped a few episodes and guess what? They are still on the same agenda asdfagakl it’s really draggy. But still I rewatched those skipped scenes again after finished all eps.. just bcus.
