I have watched the first 2 eps and I may regret not waiting then binging. But wow, the aesthetic, music, and styling are stellar.

So far this is a decent mini. Not a high budget production. I like FL from other shows. ML looks very young.

Ep 1: holy smokes! 🔥

I was really enjoying this until ep 18 where the love rivals show up and cp starts squabbling. Seriously tho, they go and hide and are immediately found by the bad people. And yet they take them in. Skipping that bs.

I finished it and yes, it is the shadow! I kinda wish they had like a slightly different mannerism or way to tell them apart tho. And I never figured out which one married her and drank the wine?

I need to talk about Substitute!! Which one survived the assassination? I’m thinking it has to be the bodyguard since he has the history with FL but I don’t know and it’s killing me!!

Yes, and at that point I was totally ok with them not being together.

I am so confused about FL and what exactly her plan is. I hope it gets sorted by the end because I have so many questions.

Yes, agree that she did prepare. And seems to have some insider knowledge (1st son’s mom killing second son’s mom). But alas I doubt she has the full story of exactly what happened with her family.

Amazing how FL is able to manipulate everyone so quickly. Even the worship ceremony. Hmm ok.

He just needs to turn the villain arc around.

Well, like many have written, this has many issues. ML is total red flag until they get their do over where he is almost total green flag. But that does not mean that the couple know how to communicate. FL is the victim of plotting by almost everyone and dumb enough to walk right into endless traps. Nonstop targeting gets old when characters don’t learn to be wary. ML is pretty clueless except for last minute rescues. And yes, the makeup, especially FL, is distracting and aweful. The performances are fine for a mini and the costumes are very elegant.

I can’t get past FL stabbing a horse, to get even with someone, in the first episode!

It gets really frustrating when she uses the 6th prince & treats 4 prince like dirt. Also making really dumb decisions.
