I just want to embarrassingly admit that for some reason the language on my app had switched to Thai(!!) and I didn't realize it. So, for real, it was not TJC I was hearing when I said this.

Currently watching ep 14 and I can't say that the development of the romance aspect is very original. However I am entertained by the the characters, chemistry, and investigations so far. SD is starting to fall hard. But, I absolutely groaned out load at YQ taking over the Shen mansion like she has a right to do that. ML needs to shut that down like the butler tried to. 2FL is dumber than a rock to meet masked guy at night all the time.

It's not that I think it should be different. After some thought, it's more that, on this show, the voices are recorded in a clean studio setting and synched in a way that does not seem to blend into the scenes. To me, it sounds like a voice over, instead of emanating from the actors. Does that make sense? Idk maybe I just want that voice to go with Xiang Liu. :P

Anyone know the episode release schedule? Thanks in advance.

I was wondering who was the guy in the secondary couple because she is for sure attracted to the secretary. That said, it will be a lot more interesting with 2ml. I saw promo picks confirming.

I have no idea whose voice it is. That’s why I didn’t want to upset anyone. I’m not criticizing the actor if it’s his. I have watched TJC in other dramas but it never stood out like this. Maybe it’s how it’s recorded.

Yes, I consider that part of his obsession. And agree that isvery toxic. I guess what I mean is, was he a bad guy outside of that?

Please don’t throw things at me, but the voice for YM does not fit at all. It’s so distracting.

I am with most all of you in the comments. But maybe I am missing something on the ML. Until the SA scene I didn’t see him as all that villainous. Obcessed yes, but I felt like FL so quickly believed the woman who said ML killed the Gu’s but that woman had her own revenge agenda. ML didn’t bother to explain until FL was pregnant so that didn’t help. And she blamed him everything and intentionally provoked him about the Duke, contributing to the toxic mess. So the end is justified. I look forward to a more positive relationship for this acting pair because they are great together.

Watched one episode and I love it so far. I’m a fan of both MLs and was not familiar with FL but half way into the ep I was hooked. More please.
