I would have been fine as long as Sanha had stuck to his decision and had kept the mom out of his life.

I watched till episode 4 and then skipped ahead and saw that my decision to drop it was the right decision.

I was enjoying their story till Sanha's mom came back and decided to walk the path of evil which was quite triggering for me, on top of that his father was a complete doormat which made me even more frustrated and then I could see the story going towards Snaha either going away with the mom and even forgiving her and that was a dealbreaker for me.

but that's all Kdramas, even in rom-coms you can look on this site and see who the main leads are and bam that's gonna be the end-game couple.

he was always a too-trusting, naive guy that won because of luck and other people's sacrifice, he's not gonna suddenly become a genius in the second season🤔 he did become jaded though but just because he went through all that shit in S1, it doesn't mean he's gonna suddenly have a higher IQ.

I wish I had done this and never bothered to watch S2, because now it has marred the memory of S1 for me too, because it's a continuation of the previous season and it affects the overall characters and plot.

I hate this so much, because we usually get a good ML and FL with good chemistry and the plot is decent but then FL is wasting so much time with SML that in some cases SML has more scenes with the FL than the ML, it makes zero sense to me.

If she was clear to him then he wouldn't have come all this way to pursue her again, and while he was in Korea she never told him to stop and flaunted him in front of ML knowing full well that ML had feelings for her, she also never set the matter straight with her mom, and then we had the mom's manipulations, all in all it felt very wishy-washy to me.

love triangles as a whole don't really make much sense to me cuz irl if a girl I've confessed to keep me on ice to "think" while she hangs with her ex all the time, I'll take myself out of the equation cuz that's a red flag to me.

this is way too overrated, everyone always recommends this to me so I finally watched it and it has it's moments of fun but overall it could have been better without the creepy love triangle, it felt disgusting to me, if they hadn't gone that route and had kept the old guy as an uncle/brother figure this would have been a 10/10, as it stands it's barely a 4/10.

oh it's bad for sure, no doubt about that. But the second couple had much more chemistry and their story was much more interesting, so in comparison to the shit main couple they did in my opinion steal the show.

on top of that with the way they brought the mom back, it reeks of the usual Korean patent forgive the parents for every wrong thing trope which I hate, I can see it a from a mile away.
