It would have been weirder for me if he had knows right away, Gi Hun was never shown to have more than average IQ, he was quite below that actually, the fact that he won the first games was mostly due to luck and others self-sacrifice. In S2 all that has changed since S1 is that he now has money and has been hardened by the events of S1, in no way was he portrayed to have become suddenly smarter(which I love); him underutilizing the money is a clear indication of that and his naive trusting side is still there, which results in him trusting 001 again or to trust a bunch of thugs to do his bidding.

I think it's because in "Business Proposal" most of the jokes and the comedy landed really well, while in "Brewing love" most of the comedy didn't land for me at all, the village people's antics that were meant to be funny or entertaining were just cringe to me. The only reason I bothered to finish it was for KSJ and the romance that was fun to watch.

Just finished the drama and this really bothered me, why were they keep making excuses for the villain? why didn't ML just call the cops when director dude wanted to tamper with the beer for the competition? dude was doing damages in the millions of $.

so? go ahead and watch them, who cares? but you can't just expect to come into that Drama's comment section and then be shocked that you were spoiled, that's naive thinking, if you don't want to be spoiled then don't put yourself in a situation that you might get spoiled in.

for example, it took me a while to find the time to watch and finish Squid game's season 2, during that time I didn't go into it's page on mydramalist, I didn't open Instagram once, same with Reddit, and shocker🤯 I didn't get spoiled.

you still don't get what I'm saying, what you're saying is correct when it comes to an ongoing drama but when it comes to a drama that has been finished for months that's different, you have to expect to be spoiled.

It's not gonna bother me, and I'm not gonna watch it, I hope people that are looking forward to it have a great time, it was just shocking to me that a drama that was so predictable got a second season.

oh for sure the cinematography was fantastic, it's just the plot that let it down, or maybe it was just the acting, like that kid that turned out to be evil was super obvious, could be a writing issue or his acting.

I was really excited for it but was super disappointed, the plot was so predictable, I knew what was gonna happen super early, and it frustrated me so much that FL was so stupid and couldn't see what was in front of her.

The synopsis are just for the first episode, it's downhill from there and even the genres written here are a lie, even the poster is a lie, it's false advertising that even fans of the drama agree to it. It's like how on Reborn Rich's genres it says it has fantasy, but the ending makes that a lie cuz it turns into something that is clearly not Fantasy.

Exactly, people complaining have forgotten that most of the emotional scenes and the scenes with the most character developments were in the 1 on 1 games, and we haven't even reached those with this group, so obviously it's not gonna be as emotional when they're still in the group game stages.

That depends on what you like, spoilers ahead:

A lot of people that are fans of the drama will say that it's slice of life and therefore slow, but it's not that, it's a mix of romcom/slice of life/melodrama all packaged into something that is quite mid and neither of those things, then there is FL's mom who is a manipulative blackmailer abuser psycho that can be quite annoying to watch, then there is the annoying ass SML who sticks around for way too long and contributes literally nothing to the story besides getting in the way of the leads getting together, FL is quite wishy-washy in telling him to fuck off too and that really pissed me off, the lack of chemistry between the leads is also troubling(personal opinion), there is zero chemistry between the second couple as well and you will be baffled by the SFL's decisions, then there is the romance between the leads that starts so abruptly it gives you whiplash, like ML was pining for FL for so long and confesses and FL then puts him on ice while she hangs with SML and then SML leaves after wasting so much screen time, and she just suddenly is with ML just because. The ending is quite unsatisfying too, but that's a matter of personal taste.

PS: don't come at me to argue, I was just telling my opinion on the drama from my perspective.
