OMG, YES! the enemies to lovers trope was done so fantastically and the chemistry unlike the main leads was through the roof

When I say dropped at episode 8, it doesn't mean I didn't watch the rest.
For me dropping means losing interest in the story and fast forwarding to the end, the episode that does that I consider the episode that made me "drop" it.

It's not even good for turning your brain off to enjoy cuz there is no part of it that is enjoyable

I always do that when a drama leaves a lasting impression on me whether negative or positive, for example I check Lovely Runner's page a couple times a week in case someone has a question or is wondering why the reviews are negative despite the drama having such a high rating, why? becasue I enjoyed the drama so much.

Or I check Reborn rich's page from time to time to make sure no one else gets duped and wastes their time on it. why? becasue it's an overrated drama with one of the most horrible endings possible.

I come here to make sure people aren't lied to by the poster and synopses and tags of the drama, and I have always answered them with my objective opinion and have never insulted anyone.

Also if not for people like me who come onto these pages of drama's that are not ongoing anymore, no one would get any answers when they ask a question, who do you think answers them? people like me that are still checking out these pages, whether they loved the drama or not.

It's better to stop, I was feeling the same way by episode 5 and pushed myself to 8 and dropped it anyway, it was just so boring.
The poster is a lie, it's definitely not a light rom-com if you were expecting that (I was), it's more of a very slow melodrama.
on top of all that I never felt the chemistry between the leads and you haven't even reached the cancer stuff or the annoying SML who's gonna be around for 3/4 episodes.

the writer had no choice but to rush her or go for a big time-jump cuz all she had was 16 episodes to work with and she wasted the majority of it on SML and SFL instead of focusing on building up tension and chemistry between the leads.

I agree with most of your points which is why I've said that the romance in this drama just doesn't make much sense, considering FL's previous long relationship and trying to find herself with a new career; it wouldn't make sense for her to jump into another super serious relationship so fast and on top of that a relationship with the potential to ruin her friend group(if it doesn't work out)

to me that's the definition of leading someone on, She never sat any boundaries with him or told him to move on and stop trying to get her back, or to stop the manipulations with her mom. also you might not have seen it but the ex did seem a little toxic at times.

some of your other points are true though, there are subtleties to her situation and it requires some background knowledge to clearly see her POV, but what I wrote was mostly from the perspective of the ML, cuz the love triangle was mostly with the SML and affected the ML.

oh for sure they're dragging it, which again speaks of their inability to tell a proper story

a lot of scenes in this drama are just there to extend the run-time which for a 12 episode drama is really bad, like how are you this shit at story telling? I watch 30+ Cdramas and never get bored.
like the whole subplot with FL's ex makes no sense and is just there to extend the run-time, dude is married and still clings to her and she does nothing about it, he cheats and steals from her and she just takes it, even though she proclaimed that she wanted to take revenge?😒
the only good part of this drama was the secondary couple's romance= fantastic enemies to lovers and buildup of their relationship, the drama should have been about them

Yep, totally agree on the red flags, but FL has huge red flags too, just wait for SML to come, and you start seeing FL's red flags from a mile.

The love triangle in this is quite weird and handled very poorly, the SML comes back right after ML confesses, and she doesn't give ML an answer for his confession and keeps him on ice, while FL's mom tries to make her go back to her fiancé. FL's also quite wishy-washy towards SML as well(which left a bad taste in my mouth), she never tells him outright to go away or to stop trying to woo and win her back, she allows him to hang with her and even be around the ML and even though ML says he doesn't want SML around and in his building, FL ignores him and still lets SML stay and even goes on a 'date' with him.

all in all this was one of the worst handling of a SML I've seen in a while and made me start skipping a head to the ending, SML has way too much screen time and he is around for like 3/4 episodes which makes the romance that hadn't even started yet go on the back burner even more (so we get very little romance or build up to it)for me who can barely tolerate love-triangles is way too much.

PS: If you enjoy annoying SMLs and FL's that fail to set any boundaries, then you'll love this.

I never said that all of them are ugly or average, it's just that the majority are like that and have fucked up teeth.
