I know that, obviously! I just don't like stories that don't start when they're supposed to start and dangle this supposedly interesting scene in front of you and then go back weeks or months and hope that you stick around long enough to reach that scene, I'm not a sheep that falls for these cheap tactics.

On another note skipped forward a little and found the mood of the Drama to be quite depressing and no at all what I thought it was gonna be.

Yeah, it was a chore to go through, I even skipped forward his scenes, but I just couldn't bother with it, he has way too much screen time.

100% agree.
I really hate triangle SMLs in general and especially those that overstay their welcome, and it's mostly because they take away screen time that could have been used for the main couple

I dropped it because of the SML; he is one of those annoying SMLs that are relentless to the end.

Compare to other dramas that have tolerable SMLs, he was that bad

Oh yeah it definitely was a mess even before the ending, the screenwriter made one change in the beginning that ruined the whole drama; she established that hyun woo existed in the same reality as the new Do joon which creates so many issues, but in the novel Hyun woo didn't exist anymore, there was a girl version of him, which told the audience with 100% certainty that this isn't just Hyun woo in the past but it's the past in a reality that Hyun woo doesn't exist in.

Just with that simple change, the Screenwriter ruined the rest of the Drama and created plot-hole after plot-hole.

It was a complete disrespect to the original author and the audience's intelligence.

I haven't read the novel cuz it's not available in English, but I've been told the ending and the novel ending is a 100 times better than the KDrama ending.

For sure! Dramas lately have been a letdown, and now they have the audacity to insult us with asinine questions like this, it pisses me off so much.

Why the hell would I watch this Drama if in the first 5 minutes it tells me that the FL dies? I hate this kind of story telling, just start your story where it fucking begins, you fucking stupid writer.

It's not the triangle in itself that is the culprit for hate, it's mostly the fact that the SMLs are either super unlikable, can't take a hint, actively sabotage the ML even though dude has done nothing to deserve it, or they have too much screen time, or they interrupt important moments, or they work behind the FL's back to undermine her in front of the ML, or they treat the FL like a toy they need to possess.

You can easily find all of these tropes in most dramas that are hated for their SMLs and triangles, writers also seem to not have gotten the message, so just the mention of triangles will make any intelligent viewer weary of the content of the drama.

Same, I just read it and it's just not for me and the question at the end is just an insult to our intelligence! Like we don't know who she's gonna end up with😏

What the hell? I thought this was a comedy fun bromance cop drama, not a depressing as fuck drama! What's with the old man and his depression? why couldn't they just show us the past and not bother with the future BS?

The poster made me skip it too, but a friend super recommended it to me today, and I've watched the first episode, so far I'm liking it a lot.

Just google "LJW plastic surgery" and if you still don't believe me then I can't help you man, I can't cure your blind sheep-like devotion.
