On episode 4 now and really don’t feel like continuing, it has such a predictable plot that it feels like a chore to continue, and the FL is such a moron, bae jung min was obviously sus from the first scene he appeared in, he the has the gall to suggest to “clean” the murder scene, how can the FL be this stupid? I just don’t see myself rooting for a moron main character, and she ain’t even cute so she doesn’t even have that going for her, anyway this is gonna be drop for me, maybe I’ll watch if the FL dies a brutal death cuz of her stupidity.
Just finished it; the action scenes were great, it looked like they had put a tone of time into the choreography, but the story was super boring and the ending felt rushed as well.
Couldn’t agree more! All in all it wasn’t Reborn Rich levels of trash but it had a lot of stupid moments and they clearly didn’t have enough for 16 episodes so they had to keep stretching it, it should have been 10 episodes max.
So you basically wanted oh taek to become the same kind of murdering psycho just like lee byoungmin huh? I'm actually…
If oh taek had killed them, he wouldn’t have become a “murdering psych” cuz a psycho simply kills for the pleasure or even just for the fun of it, if he had gone through with it, it would have been an act of vengeance not random murder.
Also I wanted to see oh taek’s loss of naïveté and innocence in a devastating way that we unfortunately didn’t get.
For me that’s a little harsh cuz I rate Kdramas a lot more differently than I do the Hollywood stuff. I’m more lenient with Kdramas because I know they’re not on the same level as them, of course there are exceptions but they are rare, so for me an average Kdrama is a 7 and in a I might give it a shot category, anything below is trash and anything above as long as it doesn’t have a stupid triangle is a must watch.
I base my rating on; casting, acting, plot, dialogue and the overall message of the drama.
Unfortunately this drama was lacking in all the categories I mentioned, the only saving grace of it was the presence of Nana, without her no one would even be interested in this drama. The plot was all over the place, acting wise only Nana was putting actual effort into it the rest were not, dialogue was cringey half the time and the message and emphasis of the drama on “only pretty people are worth dating” was quite shallow and selfish.
I take your point about the 'vengeful god' but I temper his strictness with Cupid as requiring a great effort…
If so then the”God” should have been consistent, why wasn’t he this harsh towards the other cupids? Or why was he such an arrogant and conceited bigot to the end, even in the last episode he says: “be thankful for your relationship cuz I’m the one who gave you this chance.
I don’t get the high rating at all
