I take your point about the 'vengeful god' but I temper his strictness with Cupid as requiring a great effort…
If so then the”God” should have been consistent, why wasn’t he this harsh towards the other cupids? Or why was he such an arrogant and conceited bigot to the end, even in the last episode he says: “be thankful for your relationship cuz I’m the one who gave you this chance.
Dropped at episode 5 and here are my reasons: 1. This drama is super shallow with too much of a focus on being “handsome” which is ironic cuz the entirety of the cast except for Nana aren’t even that good looking. 2. There is a vengeful “God” that lives and breathes just so he can make the ml miserable. 3. The Fl’s reasoning for falling in love make no sense. 4. The reason why the Ml can’t fall in love also makes no sense cuz the rest of the cupids had no problem dating. 5. Also people told me that there is a very minuscule and insignificant triangle, but it didn’t feel like that at all, the sml was super toxic and annoying and a literal god was endorsing it.
All in all if Nana wasn’t in this it would be a 6/10 that no body would ever remember.
It was great at the start but it became super boring fast and had to drop it, it felt like writer ran out of materials and was just paddding the runtime with nonsense, it should have been a 10 episode drama max.
It differs from "Hometown Cha Cha Cha" a lot aside from its seaside town setting and some common elements like…
I cannot agree more with you on the boring SML part, he ruined the drama for me in Hometown cha cha and he ruined it for me here too, I will never understand this need that Korean writers have for a useless triangle that serves no purpose to the story.
I have a love hate relationship with this drama. the characters are really good. casting was perfect. there are…
Currently watching and really struggling with Sang do’s scenes, if it get’s any worse I think I’m gonna drop it.
He also doesn’t really add much of anything to the story, the story would be the same with or without him and we could have had more time for sisters stories, I’m super disappointed in this.

Also did it have an annoying love triangle? If it did how bad is it?
