Guys chill. I don't think there would be any American spin off. They just wanted to show the main point of the drama- As long as there are poor and desperate people, they'll be exploited by those in power irrespective of the location.

They won't make the remake as the games and "Squid game" are Korean in origin. So, it won't be authentic. Moreover, the drama itself was more of international rather than Korean. So, there is no need.

Character wise they did too dirty in this season. Those 6 guys in the last game were fillers bringing no value to the story and the entertainment.

How can a ML die? Well, it's the most logical in that way. He showed the rare human quality i.e. sacrifice in the game. That's the only way he defeated the intention of those VIPs' and of the whole system. He himself didn't have selfless personality from the S1. The character development what matters!
