Ngl hated the extended time between communication. They could have shown live translation while they speak Mandarin. They're not showing a total historically accurate drama anyways. But have to accept because the actors memorized it with so much effort.

Because they're korean actors and sound production are different in Korean and Chinese/Mandarin dramas as the spoken languages have different pitches

Yeah, I am watching this show for Lee chae min but Sung Hoon and Yoona pairing would have been much better. It's okay for a king to be young and still accomplished so much both in political pov and family related, still me as a viewer would have liked a more mature ML.
