beautiful compelling first episode. i love the character of the ML here. it's a fresh take on love at first sight that's not the usual cliched execution of this trope. im also loving the 3rd person perspective the FL has upon herself after transmigrating. a pretty solid start for a drama. i like it. ^^

my thoughts were like since she's the boyish type, she has no idea how to do proper makeup, that's why it kinda look like the way it was. lol. that was such a great detail adding to changyu's character.
im conflicted with that breakup scene but im glad changyu slapped zheng after that kiss. her reasons are justified. but i also understood the impending doom zheng must have felt w/ that separation. as a man who yields power and is suddenly rendered powerless because of this woman, that kiss was his yearning and frustration rolled into one. both of their actions were justified, and that was my conflict. hahaha. next episodes will now be plot driven. we're taking a break w/ all the romance for now. lol.
director should be doing all other idol dramas from now on.lol. he's just so good in this romance atmosphere and the cinematography is just killing me everytime. i wonder if he'll be doing xianxia. we need something like this in xianxia. hahaha.
