me, im just here for the ride with my pig-slapping sister. so they can have all the drama they want with the stats and rankings but my drama is better. and im enjoying it!!!! hahaha

they have a deep understanding of their characters and their motivations. their thoughts about the director are the same as the viewers. no wonder this drama is well-made.

the lunar new year couplets part is one of my fave moments in the novel and thank you so much for capturing the essence of those moments on screen! i think by now, i can say that the screenwriter is also the novelist (maybe writing under a pseudonym??). if i may be bold to suggest that. LOL. mehhnn, AGAIN, i dont know how many times im gonna say this but the framing is just peak cinema and that bgm for one of qi min's confrontation scenes is chef's kiss!!! lol. both leads delivered including the supports. and director is so annoying but really good at what he does- that cliffhanger. yeah.. you did it. you did it.

yessss!! i also love this because ive grown to love the characters in this drama. esp. the Zhao uncle and aunty who became FCY's support system. you seldom see this esp when dramas portray a strong FL.

ikr?! im a sucker for wuxia cos it makes time fly when i watch, but romance-mystery is different, there's sometimes a slow-burn factor to it that if not nicely done, will make one skip and sleep to the end. but here, everything is gorgeous. the characters are fascinating to get to know as the story unfolds. or maybe it's just me. lol

i was watching the 10th ep and then suddenly the end credits rolled. i was like... wat the hekk happened to the 40mins. it felt like 5mins!!

even all the side characters are serving and giving!!! this drama IS the drama!! and we're still on 10 eps. i wonder how the team will tackle the 2nd half (after the climax) as it comes to a close.

i can't wait. i wish to see zheng's ruthlessness and his vulnerabilities at the same time. the tease from yesterday's eps is unbearable.
