Wu Pei is the snake is scheming and has become a general in the north region. He has colluded with the Japanese Anh vowed to avenge his parents’ death (killed par ML’s men). Both FL & ML are in love, support each other on the battlefield. They accidentally fell in the trap of bandits and will see how they manage to free themselves in today’s episodes.

I would recommend it. I have enjoyed it so far (up to ep 19), kind of happy drama up to now. There will be some sad storyline later on perhaps.

Agreed. Had he been so much in love with QS, he could have been with her then and would have stood up for QS. He just accepted his mum decision and went abroad instead.

Same, I don’t care if she breaks up with TJH. I think QS set up her own law shop and rejected her hypocrite boss offer to become senior partner but accepted to work for Ms Alan’s case and split their legal fees. TJH a has resigned from the law firm and obnoxious Wu Fei is back to being a legal assistant and I am not quite sure whether they are back but together but I don’t care.

I bought the express package and skipped to last few minutes of episode and QS & YH have a happy ending at last. I’ve always enjoyed QS’s interaction with Li Dai and Li Dai happens to be a good friend despite her competitive but fair appearance towards QS. I need to go back and watch from ep 30 now.

I cannot stand her and QS’s boss. Both of them deserve each other. I hope that QS realises that her boss is toxic and their law firm does not deserve QS.

My heart bleeds when I watch this scene and hope they will reconcile quickly.

Fully agreed, I dislike her boss, the amount of stress that woman is creating for QS. I understand that QS has been lying about her marital status the whole time but her private has nothing to do with her capacity to perform her job. It is such a discrimination to enforce this rule on any other woman to move up in a work environment. As for Wu Fei, she needs to grow up and stop hating on QS and hurting QS and YH. Karma will be biting in her behind.

It was in the episode when QS brought YH to have a meal with her family. Her mum got pissed off with her dad a when QS admitted the reason why TJH and her broke up. Her mum then wanted to sell her current flat and move nearer to QS and she was questioning about the savings her dad put aside. He told her mum that he used the money to help QS buy TJH’s share of her flat if I am not mistaken.

It was said by QS’s dad to her mum that he used their saving to pay for her flat when QS broke up with TJH in the latest episodes.

I’m also from SE Asia but grew up abroad so his mum’s behaviour is out of order for me. I agree with you that they did not have a clean break up hence his ambitious behaviour towards QS. Having said that, he could have fought a bit more to be still in a relationship with her if really wanted to. For me, his mum’s wish is more important for him than being with QS, I am just speculating here. Sometimes, you have to decide what is best for you.

Whilst QS did break up with TJH, she knew that she would have no chance when his mum was against her. Apologies for saying this but Asian mums are quite difficult to please especially when they have some stereotype prejudice against children from broken families. I understand your rant but I’ve have not seen any scenes of TJH standing up for QS and talked to his mum that he is big enough to decide for his own love life. It looks that he still has feelings for QS and be a bit ambiguous about his feelings for QS to the girlfriend.

I quite enjoy the slow romance between QS & YH. I also like QS interaction with Li Dai. I can’t stand her female boss and her ex’s new girlfriend Weifei who is out of order. TJH needs to rein in the obnoxious girlfriend Weifei and cannot believe that an accomplished guy like TJH could be with a childish girl like this.

He was the second ML in from Survivor to Healer drama with Shawn Dou and he was kind of funny and annoying at the same time.

That was sweet and she was kind of blaming him by telling him what took you so long to come and save me.

I understand that even among the partners in law firm, you have junior partner which is the case for QS. Usually, the senior partners have more say and could teach junior partners. Usually, the senior partners bring in big clients which come with big legal fees, hence their attitude with younger partners.
