Whilst QS did break up with TJH, she knew that she would have no chance when his mum was against her. Apologies for saying this but Asian mums are quite difficult to please especially when they have some stereotype prejudice against children from broken families. I understand your rant but I’ve have not seen any scenes of TJH standing up for QS and talked to his mum that he is big enough to decide for his own love life. It looks that he still has feelings for QS and be a bit ambiguous about his feelings for QS to the girlfriend.

I quite enjoy the slow romance between QS & YH. I also like QS interaction with Li Dai. I can’t stand her female boss and her ex’s new girlfriend Weifei who is out of order. TJH needs to rein in the obnoxious girlfriend Weifei and cannot believe that an accomplished guy like TJH could be with a childish girl like this.

He was the second ML in from Survivor to Healer drama with Shawn Dou and he was kind of funny and annoying at the same time.

That was sweet and she was kind of blaming him by telling him what took you so long to come and save me.

I understand that even among the partners in law firm, you have junior partner which is the case for QS. Usually, the senior partners have more say and could teach junior partners. Usually, the senior partners bring in big clients which come with big legal fees, hence their attitude with younger partners.

I didn’t expect to be so drawn in this drama. It is quite a masterpiece in terms of storyline and chemistry of the FL & ML.

Don’t worry, karma will bite him in the ar****e. Gao is just delusional and envious of LX.

They are both as bad as each other in my books.

I also understand how he feels with no more family around and when even his girlfriend’s parents want to split them up. It is very difficult Thor anyone to remain rational and calm to navigate through difficulties.

My understanding from the book is that their eldest son was playing in a movie reflecting their life as a couple & having children. It was said that they were leading a very busy life juggling between family and work so they got married when the youngest daughter was about 5 years old. That said, both are deeply in love with each other and supportive of each other. There was a very deep understanding of one another.

I was thinking about her swapping their wishes as well and I have no doubt that it was what she did. We will find out in future episodes hopefully. I hate the fier character . I have recently watched another drama Good time with Hu Ge ( he is so handsome) and he was manipulated by the FM’s best friend who was also his girlfriend. Luckily, he realised how fake, how manipulative she was. Sometimes, men an attracted to beauty, the appearance of a woman rather than character unfortunately.

I didn’t see the proposal either but perhaps their wish kept in the glass bottle where he wished he could be by her side (Fier bi***atch ) to protect her. Sigh 😞

I am a mother of 3 daughters that are around CSS age and older as I had them young and I would never do such thing to my own daughters even in front of my siblings let alone humiliating them in front of strangers. In addition, my husband would have interfered and would never have allowed me to do so.
Being an Asian mother that grew up abroad has given me the perspective of both Asian and western cultures. My mum was very strict with us but was always scolding us behind closed doors and would have never exposed us in front everyone. I would never be able to do this to my own daughters. I know that we all have to teach our children right from wrong but there are always ways to educate them. Harsh words or violence would never resolve any issues. Children are precious to us so my heart is really bleeding for CSS.
