Guys I have to wait for 1 hour before it shows to me. But I just saw the preview of ep 35 and 36 and can anyone tell me what's the royal decree of ep 35 all about? Did they get married or not? Why are both of them so upset? Did Chu Zhao do something? Oh my God!
He played Prince Langya in TBOY and Dashing Youth. I really can’t unsee that role, it was so memorable. To me,…
I saw him in youthful glory. Honestly whenever they zoom into his face, even if he makes faces, I don't see a villain. His face is suitable for a positive role. Also maybe because he did a lot of positive roles, maybe I am not able to see him differently.
Xaio Jue using the "she's my beloved" excuse is pulled from the novel - and in the novel this was actually…
In the novel, the king never wanted to kill He Yan. ML told emperor that because she was his woman/his love he kept her with him disguised as a man but later she showed immense bravery and learnt military skills. Because he had told it to the emperor way back before anybody else knew, emperor wasn't angry and even issued a marriage decree.
My perspective on why ML emphasized on He Yan being his love was, her background could be checked. For a woman to learn those skills at that time was weird. Especially because in the novel, there was a rebirth story. The old He Yan was now in the body of a new He Yan who was a daughter of a normal palace guard. She grew up in the capital and all her family & neighbours knew her, she was just a simple woman. No one would believe she learnt millitary skills. That's why it was easier to say she was Xiao Jue's love interest and later learnt military when she lived in the garrison with him.
The drama blended both of it. So I think they took the same stance as in the novel.
Might be, the battle in ep 35 and the wedding 15 mins before the ending . ✌🏻😂
Yeah, and how XJ was completely cool because he trusted her and he even waited in the gate looking for her when she came back. Such nice scenes. But they are not showing that, they would show He Yan and XJ fighting together in that white-black robes, which is cool too.
There have been hints of CZ going down this route in a few episodes
Yeah I hope this scene gets recreated and that's when Xiao Jue punches him. Can't wait. But in the novel, after his Chu Zhao did not try to pursue He Yan or do anything else. He just focused on his political goals. I hope they show the same in the drama too. EP 34 preview seems strange.
