From ep 10, things do get serious. Its pretty serious at the current moment ep 20 onwards. But we still have our comedic moments and light hearted scenes in midst of them. There is a balance. In the first few episodes the balance was heavy towards comedy, in the middle it was a balance between comedy and seriousness now its heavier towards serious stuff.

No that's guessing. We can all guess. Actually after watching so much of detective mystery dramas we are easily able to guess stuff. Like when they showed ML's father as a bad angry man knowing a lot of stuff, suspicious, I understood he did not do anything. During the first case when the princess in red dress danced I was guessing she might attempt suicide. Consort Shu being so good to her striked me too. But that doesn't mean in a detective drama they would write everything in the synopsis, they should let people make theories and guess. Thankfully I read the synopsis 2 days backs not before, so it didn't ruin my experience as such, but still they should keep the mystery.

Please watch The Double! I have been obsessed by that drama and his role in that for 2 years now! No historical drama of his or of anyone else can actually beat that for me! But its a serious drama, its a revenge drama, with subplot of romance, very great acting, very great direction and cinematography! Like if I say I am obsessed by it, it would be an understatement! Lol!
The Wanted Detective was also fine, he played a detective who is accused of murder in that! He was also in Perfect Match, slice of life kind of story, but I did not watch that, because there were many couples, and the drama represented all of them, so he was the lead for around 10 episodes, but I heard it was nice as well!

The first case as well as the 15 year old case, it did spoil it, who wrote the synopsis, are they crazy!

There was a teaser in which they kiss, hold hands! It seems a HE for the leads, but if they get married or not, I don't think we know that as of yet!

Nope no one is strong! Both of them are transmigrators, both of them cannot fight! FL goes to protect him, with other guards. Its not that she will herself protect him, but it would be the guards. She goes because she loves him and wants to protect him, but both of them are from the modern world, they do not have skills to fight!
Actually I have never seen a cdrama especially historical cdramas with romance as the main plot- but I can tell you few of them having romance a lot, with other genres, but the main part is the leads have a very healthy relationship- Who Rules the world, Legend of the female general, Coroner's Diary, even this drama! All of these have leads who only have eyes for each other!

No its not like that. She loves him since ep 9-10! But both of do not kiss till ep 20, they just flirt and roam around.
And no there is no breakup, they are always together till the end, because this is an adaption of a novel, which I have read!
Yes actual romantic scenes start from 20 onwards, but even before them, they are together, without any problem or external interference!
Maybe you can just watch 1-2 episodes before deciding for yourself!

No this isn't a one sided love story! FL loves him too, loves him very much! I said FL just trusts/loves only ML no one else!
About doing everything, its FL deciding everything! Because she had read the book, so she tells him to do what is required for surviving!

I thought that too but I remember they said current emperor is her uncle. Even Consort Shu told her you are emperor's favourite child. So there seems to be a generation gap.

Today's episode? FL is not angry at him for that. She just thought he lied to her, but then it got cleared. They were not together, so that's not a breakup! It has been hard for her as well, she has been fighting for the truth alone! The next case is here, and as per preview ML is back!
It didn't seem to me that FL is as such angry on him! She was upset on the circumstances though!

Both want to survive, this is a tale of survival! So the most important thing for both of them is survival! But ML for many reasons/spoilers, is more in love with FL since the first few episodes. FL gradually realizes she loves him too, but yes its just him she trusts/protects, they just started dating today, so we have to see more!

I am so glad my theory was right, that ML's father actually saved her! I am also glad FL's master and ML did not lie to her as such, few things here and there to protect her, but they don't know the truth! Poor ML, I feel so bad for him, he trying to protect FL since childhood!

Because they are transmigrated as Majesty and his concubine, they are already kind of a couple! From the very first episode, they stick together always, making plans, supporting each other. So it seems they are always a couple. But if you are asking when they actually get together, its in episode 20, when they kiss!
But from ep 1 to 20 they had countless of beautiful moments, so they are kind of always dating!

Nothing, they have a very good and healthy relationship, SML only cares about power, not about FL. He is a big villain but has no feelings for FL!
