I use Gmail account to log in. Sometimes have to try it multiple times to get it but usually works ok. Maybe is an MDL issue I see they have a lot of errors lately.

The character changes slowly till ep 30. After that there is a 360 change of ZY. This is the story and she improves once she ages and pass through difficult issues. This series is getting overall better with each episode in. So if you are not invested to go long way with it you might see it as you just mentioned.
