Actually it started from first episodes in ,when he found out his mother died - the weather changed based on his spirit. Further, as long as his reactions are outside his regular master calmness, the weather will change. XZ named that as SY" having no privacy at all' 😅

It depends on each person. I do not know how many you have seen but I recall my first impression after seeing couple of episodes was : wow this drama is going nowhere where I expected to in the begining. Vas very nice to see the devlopment of the characters and twists of the story. Well written script.
ML dies. He don't come back, that's just his illusion
I was referring to his soul. This is my understanding, his soul never perished and he returned phisically once the flowers bloom, not as illusion. But I guess each with their own interpretation, that is the beauty of the ending 👌

ML and FL fight together against the God of destruction. ML seals the God in his body to save the FL and Kongsang, and asks her to stab him in the heart. He returns back to FL 1 year later, in the final scene of the show.

Novel is in general very complex not only for this but also for the other xanxia. The rule in China is to compress all in 40 episodes. That is why the majority of them have the scripts modified compared with novel but they keep the essence. As is Xanxia better to show the angst,dying and return than happily ever after with kids. It fits better for the genre which focus on cultivation and world saving.
