The character changes slowly till ep 30. After that there is a 360 change of ZY. This is the story and she improves once she ages and pass through difficult issues. This series is getting overall better with each episode in. So if you are not invested to go long way with it you might see it as you just mentioned.
Don't think it will happen. XZ is definitely moving to other type of roles and not idol dramas anymore.
From what I know yes. She is an ok actress but I heard she had problems with last and ongoing project so she will make variety more for the end of year and she has only one future project confirmed at the moment. Do not know if true, this is what melons are saying on twitter. Regardless of this I do not see her approach in close future, same areas as XZ.
