Title The Longest Promise Spoiler

ML dies. He don't come back, that's just his illusion

No, it is not an illusion. Illusions do no cast shadows. Also he dies when she dies, 27 years later acc with the blood lifesharing spell.

Title The Longest Promise Spoiler

Can someone spoil me the ending!! Will ML or FL die??

ML and FL fight together against the God of destruction. ML seals the God in his body to save the FL and Kongsang, and asks her to stab him in the heart. He returns back to FL 1 year later, in the final scene of the show.

Title The Longest Promise Spoiler

Is something usual for this Xanxia genre. Based on the genre for me it was a HE

Novel is in general very complex not only for this but also for the other xanxia. The rule in China is to compress all in 40 episodes. That is why the majority of them have the scripts modified compared with novel but they keep the essence. As is Xanxia better to show the angst, dying and return than happily ever after with kids. It fits better for the genre which focus on cultivation and world saving.

Because a lot of people can not distinguish between characters and acting. And this is a serious issue I seen all over MDL. People hate or like actors because of the characters instead of appreciating the work they do :(

For me Happy ending for a Xanxia. I watched TTEOTM too and that one was more tragic.

He returns in the last scene 😊

Yes, in the novel they return to commoner life and have kids and live 27 years as per the spell. Their grand grand daughter becomes the FL in Mirror of twin city and their tomb stone is shown there too. Novel is connected.
