Wasn't PWX almost assassinated in the carriage, and SRQ couldn't take him to the Ministry of Justice in the novel?…
Yeah, you’re so right, they ruined the boat scene. It was actually the first time they consummated their marriage in the book. She was more apologetic than angry, and he was enraged but quietly determined. But they changed the essence in the drama.
Oh god, not the childhood trope. I don't know why writers resort to it. It's so lame.
Not really a trope in this case it’s integral to the plot because the poisoning at that time led to her current condition. What did they give her that mixed with her blood causing her to shapeshift? Was the poison really meant for her and not the dude? Who were those people and why was she targeted? I hope the series delves on the past and gives us a neat explanation.
so pei wen xuan was in love with qin zhen zhen then after he got married he fell in love with li rong but li rong…
Was this in the novel? I thought chastity and purity was a thing for royal women? This is eye opening. It's a wonder that her husband returned to her in this life. Why didn't he just run away?
Plus if they were doing all this, it's no wonder why the emperor castrated him and whipped her. The drama doesn't dwell on the reason WHY the emperor was enraged at the Su family. Now we know. If you've read the novel, please disclose more. Thanks!
I’m feeling the same way. It’s the hook that’s keeping me on. He’s hiding something that caused the misunderstanding,…
I kind of agree. I honestly don't know why she's still going gaga for a person who slowly poisoned her to death. I mean, he saw her grow sick daily (she herself commented how 'heavy' her body felt) and was still acting lovingly while feeding her poison and she still has the gall to go gaga in his presence? After knowing all this??
If he was going to kill her, why not finish her off in one blow instead of making her suffer? And after she realized it, and realizes her husband was acting in her best interest, why not treat her husband better and distance herself from the sml? I don't believe she has any true feelings for sml. Nor he for her. To him, she's a means to an end.
I would rather trust a person who is blunt, honest and direct if albeit unlikable, than someone who feeds me poison in a loving manner. But that's just me.
I want to bet that Rongqing also came back from the past. He’s acting too sure of the Princess affections, like a man who already knows what the future will bring or what the past was.
He’s unaware that the Princess already knows that he murdered her in their past life and has reservations about him now.
Say what you will about the Princess, but it’s obvious to me that the man she is genuinely in love with, even now, is her husband, and not Li Rong. She’s using Li Rong to make her husband jealous. She cares too much about PWX’s welfare, even after punishing him, she takes care of him, is too jealous of her non-existent love rival, the way they bicker and argue is reminiscent of an old married couple who knows each other’s flaws, have survived hurts and betrayal and still love each other and want to be together anyway.
Nope she is an angry stupid woman, who is working with his enemy to gain power. Emperor will never allow her to…
Maybe, but the title does not pass through the father's side, the title passes through his mother from her father. So Xin Bai's father, while a great detective when he was alive, was not involved in the succession dispute at all. He was a commoner. Xinbai took his mother's name and became a duke through his mother.
Suo Luo is getting super annoying. She should listen to her mother and go on with her bussiness but no, she seems…
If people were as honest as they are supposed to be, there would be no drama. But I agree with you, complete honesty is so refreshing. I'm afraid that YNX's lack of honesty and disclosure is going to cost us a few more episodes of roundaboutism. I just wish she'd hurry up and tell Xin Bai of the guy who rescued her so they can move on to other matters. This is what is causing the plot to drag and the drama to be rated lower.
Lolz Because what YNX want is his one word "Sorry" for using her friendship to him but he's been trying to repay…
Is he her brother though? Or half or step brother? She acts like they don't share the same parent. Always scheming against him even with people who have openly said they are out to get him. I wonder what she really wants.
