I am really sad that one of the sisters decided to kill herself rather than continue living. If only she had waited she would have found out that her older sister, Hua Zhi was still alive. Maybe she thought with her husband gone, she had no way out. Especially since her in-laws didn't appear to care for her.
I feel sorry for her husband, he must have loved her so much he'd rather die than continue life without her, but at the same time, when I think of how easily he ordered his sister in law to be killed, I don't feel as sorry for him. Sad episode all around.

8.7 isnt low on here thats pretty high considering the top drama is 9.2
It could be higher though. I often take the MDL rating as a consideration of how popular a drama is, rather than a complete reflection on the drama's quality.
The ending episode was "convenient" but you know what, I liked it, and the drama on the whole. It was an enjoyable…
Agree. His orange, curly hair was awful. Which begs the question where he found time to perm and color his hair when he was scared to go out because of the various ghosts that kept bothering him. Or did the ghosts cut his hair, perm and color it???
I'm more forgiving. I feel she has suffered enough and she gets to move on. I guess the drama put things in context why she was tempted to cheat, because her husband was practically never around. It also makes me wonder if it was an emotional affair because the vibe I'm getting from them is that they didn't take things to the next level.
Instead of constantly pasting a smile on her face, she should have manned up and asked for a divorce. Maybe she was afraid of destabilizing him and leading to his death, which happened anyway, as he was rushing home to his wife and became overconfident then got stabbed.
This drama has many themes about the dangers of being a workaholic and ignoring your home life, health and family in favor of your job. The two ghosts that assisted the ML both suffered from overwork - one died because of it, and one lost his marriage because of it - so I'm thinking that overworking is a real thing in Korea that this drama is trying to address.
Why does she call him Mr. Seo even after becoming a couple?
Koreans have a very formal way of addressing each other, but at this stage she should have changed the way she referred to him, as they are in a relationship.

Sooo can we finally have the conversation that if you know that you are cursed and still have children you are…
I strongly believe that this was why main leads decided to ‘date intensely’ and not get a marriage proposal. I get the feeling that kids are NOT in their future.
I honestly thought they would kill 2FL off so she and deputy go will get a happy ending..them dating like this…
I agree. They literally have no future. It would have been much better if she died and became a ghost, too. And they would have been able to explore the world together.
Ep: 15 thoughtsFL's character is bugging me so much at this point!! Girl is such a 🤡 going back and forth about…
Honestly, if she was a guy, she’d likely have been shredded on this forum. She’s the embodiment of a walking red flag.
I know she has had her trauma and I am sympathetic, but what she did to the ML can only be called cruel. She deserves to be chewed out by her bestie for her unethical behavior, and mostly, tying a guy down, when you clearly know he wants marriage and commitment, when you are not ready to commit is downright cruel. It would have been more moral to let him go and face your career, maybe try to rekindle a few years down the line when you are ready to settle down. What’s the difference between how her boss treated her and how she treated the ML?
actually, YangZi and Xukai can be seen as a couple, but it's not, right? they seem more like best friends, I don't…
It's not the chemistry that is lacking. it's the plot. The plot wasted their chemistry, instead of focusing on the progression of the couple, it took a back seat to the mother's shenanigans in the last part of the story. There was no avenue for the couple to truly shine once they got together and were accepted by their families.
I'm a woman. And even for me the date seems like a lot of work. I value people who respect my time, so showing up 30 mins late for a date is a deal breaker. Even with that, I still got the Happy Ending - possibly because I kept my thoughts to myself instead of sharing it.
I’ve just finished ep 33 on iQiyi and am waiting for the other episodes to be released. I wondered why the rating on MDL was so low, but now I understand, and can attribute it to the poor choice of the writing in this drama. Won’t elaborate but am absolutely appalled that once again Zhiming is left ending up with the short end of the stick.
