Sorry, I can't pick between Kim Ji Won and Zhao Lusi. I love them both equally.

I came to this drama because of the male lead. Truth is, I’ve followed him and loved his acting. And his smolder and passion for the female lead? Yikes! Guys get a room! Min Hyuk has really stepped up his game and gotten manlier since military service. I stayed hooked to the drama because of the female lead. Oh boy! Does she shine! At times spitting mad, at times vulnerable, her performance is nothing short of noteworthy. Loved every bit of the drama and its unique concept.

Yeah she wasn’t bad, but she was dumb and too trusting yo her BFF. The lesson here is that there’s no loyalty among thieves. If she could stab the her high school friend in the back, then she can do the same to her current bestie. Because she’s that kind of person.

Can’t Dispatch give it a rest? They’ve been dating for 7 years. So why out them now??? Sucks to be a celebrity couple in S. Korea.

Everyone is blaming Soo Cheol’s wife for attempting to run away again. But come on! Soo Cheol is barely an adult. He is just an overgrown child who doesn’t solve his problems in a realistic fashion, so how can she confide or rely on him? He’s only good for having tantrums and causing trouble. I think ep 14 spent a lot of time explaining why his wife cannot rely on him, because he’s practically incompetent. If he had been like Eun Sang or Hyun Woo and could strategize and solve problems, his wife wouldn’t have to run away when she’s threatened. I mean even when she told him that her ex was going to blame him for all the crimes the ex committed, Soo Cheol didn’t go to Seoul, but is still playing house with his wife in Hyunwoo’s hometown.

Dropped in ep 7. It went from high to low and got boring really fast. The ML is a dream, even the 2nd ML is lovable, but they made the FL so wishy washy I have no empathy for her and no desire to complete the series. This drama caught my interest in the beginning but fizzled out by ep. 5. In all honesty, 10 episodes are too much for this drama. They should have stopped at episode 5 and not dragged the plot for too long.

It wouldn't surprise me if the ultimate villian is the emperor himself, callous scheming man!

I hope it’s a really bitter lesson. I dislike her even more than FL’s mom, whom I dislike a lot. At least FL’s mom is motivated by love of her family. That sister only cares about herself. She doesn’t really care about her parents or even her brother. Otherwise she wouldn’t have tried so hard to break up the brother’s relationship in the first place.

I know, right? However C-dramas seem to be in love with public proposals and putting everything on display. It’s a way to pressure the woman into saying yes, to save face, I guess. Only strong women will say no despite being surrounded by friends and family.

So that was what it was! Thank you for mentioning this! I knew they were speaking in dialect but wasn’t sure which. It sounded different and nice.

Thank you! This is exactly the way I feel about her. She’s not a kind person. Loving her family doesn’t earn her any brownie points in my book, because the natural thing is to love your family. It’s how you treat them that counts, and she treats her friends and family horribly. Focusing too much attention on one child, neglecting the other, constantly belittling and berating her husband, being mean to her goddaughter and neighbors. It’s a wonder that her family puts up with her!

Jialiang sister is more obnoxious than MCH’s mom. And that’s saying something, because they are both obnoxious.

Yeah, but haven’t you noticed the effect on her son? He has very little confidence and little say in the family. Even for things he should naturally complain about, he just swallows it and takes it with a smile. Such behavior is not normal. It’s like he too, in his own way is walking on eggshells even though he loves his family. I pity him and his mom who had to part with him for 6 years. It’s skewed the family dynamics where they focus so much on the daughter, the first born, at the expense of the brother. Luckily MCH notices the imbalance and tries to compensate for her parents unknowing neglect.

The biggest thing the father can’t handle is his wife. I understand where she is coming from most of the time, but she is very tedious to deal with. After years of dealing with her histrionics, I believe he just lets her steamroll him to keep the peace in their household.

A question for anyone in the Legal profession because it’s quite frankly driving me mad, why does Hyun Woo not wear a pin while all his other friends who are lawyers do? I know he argues cases in court, because when he went directly from court to see Hae In at the party, he said so. But he still wasn’t wearing his pin then. Is it because he works for a conglomerate while his friends work in an actual law firm? Please advise, Thanks!
