The most painful thing imho was her wish to never reunite with him in any life. That was painful beyond words. Does she hate him that much???? Couldn’t she have just said I love you but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do??!!!
I thought that YXW’s actions eliminated the Devil Bones from TTJ. If that’s the case why is the Devil God still alive and able to communicate with TTJ?

Good point. I didn’t see it as a plot hole but your explanation makes sense. The drama explained that the family believed Grandmas poisoning was accidental from what went down between YBC and TTJ. They were more upset that YXW didn’t come to say her last farewells ( I.e. pay her last respects) to Grandma than the fact that YXW’s actions caused Grandma’s death.
What pisses me off is that XYW broke her promise that she made to TTJ not to misunderstand him and jump to conclusions. She certainly deserves the heartbreak she gets. I was waiting for her to ask him why he killed her grandma, then the truth would have been revealed, instead she brushes everything under the rug and maliciously plots to kill him.
Secondly, the other thing that REALLY pissed me off is that she’s too busy talking when trying to kill him. Why waste time? Why not drive all 9 nails into him at one go? You know when a villain starts talking as they are trying to kill the lead character that they are just buying time for the character to be rescued. Which brings be back to my original peeve that a little bit of honest conversation goes a really long way!
No! Bad idea… just subtitle it in Korean. The original is so precious! I’m of the firm belief that not all dramas need to be remade. This drama is at the top of that list. Plus the casting is off. The real magic is really the father pair. I don’t know who can play those.
Not for Chinese dramas. Viki is notorious for rating Kdramas quite high (above 9) even if they’re not great and mildly interesting. And by the same token rate Cdramas quite low in the 8 ranges unless the Cdrama is exceptionally well liked and popular. For a Cdrama to be rated 9.6 in Viki means that it is really high quality. J-doramas suffer even worse ratings than Cdramas, as they are mostly in the 7s and 8s and occasionally in the low 9 ranges.

I always wondered how they are able to keep their white clothes immaculate (especially those with trains) without smudging them up. I do admire them. I personally can’t wear white. It’ll be stained before I know it. I’ve only ever seen two C-dramas where the actors b*tt got dirty after sitting on the ground, one was in You are My Hero (that scene was very realistic) and the other was Ancient Detective the main actress train got dirty as it touched the ground (low budget drama so I doubt they had the money to replace dirty costumes).

It’s okay for a goddess to do evil acts because she’s a goddess, but not okay for a demon/devil to seek justice because she’s a demon?Glad she shoved his offer to be ‘immortal’ up his arse. What incentive does she have to be immortal, when an immortal behaved worse than demons and attempted to get away with it? I blame MY because he could have communicated better with his wife instead of assuming what she felt, and believing everything that conniving witch told him. When Tian Huan was poisoning his mind that his wife had another lover, why didn't he ask his wife? Sang Jiu is as guilty as well because she didn't verify anything she heard from Tian Huan with her husband and just believed TH. I blame her less because she was a stranger and didn't know any one there. But MY knew that TH had feelings for him which he was constantly rejecting, so why wasn't he more alert to her machinations? If there is proper communication between a couple, third parties won't have a way into their relationship no matter how hard they try. And then telling her SJ he never loved her, trying to get rid of her by noble sacrifice so she won't mourn him was just playing into TH lies.
