Unpopular opinion but I am starting to really like Zhu Yun‘s childhood friend. He’s so good to her and I like…
@greenleaf Your opinion is not unpopular, I really like ZY’s friend. I think he’s quite ideal for her, understands her family dynamics and is quite compatible with her. In real life, I would want him with ZY in a heartbeat. Pity, though, she doesn’t love him and Li Xun for her is the end game…,

Help, I dont really understand eps 27 HAHAHAH.I think its not really clear if the misunderstanding has resolved…
When a person commits suicide, they usually feel relief from their problems that pushed them into committing such an act. That was what TZH must have been referring to. Her mental trauma was so great that she couldn’t stop being busy to give herself time to think about her pain and anguish. As for LX and ZY, I believe the handshake symbolizes that they have agreed to work as colleagues with no romantic entanglements and leave the past behind. Whether they’ll continue as that, though, is anyone’s guess. He doesn’t really see a stress free future for himself as he plans to seek revenge on Gao and would prefer to protect her from the mess, so he will not pursue a romantic relationship with her, although he is still very much in love with her, as evidenced by his jealousy when he saw her relate to TZH (who I think is a cool dude who understands her and is compatible with her, but in a friendly way - they’re clearly not in a romantic relationship).

Despite Fangru's earlier character, I am always excited to see her development as a person. I wish I could have…
I kinda like Prince An, he’s there for comedic effect, but he does eventually learn from his mistakes. Lol. And knowing that his harem will never spare him but make him eat his own medicine is very refreshing. I like that he’s not malicious like the Crown Prince but just very stupid and spoiled.

The competition was on their campus this time with their professor as one of the hosts so there was no avoiding…
Good point, but I did notice that ZY had a reason for not showing up, and it’s LX, a guy who really doesn’t care for classes, and had more or less dropped out of school (if the subs I read are correct), and had a history of not attending classes. If he didn’t want to be there, he has many ways of avoiding the competition.

The scene of the two lovers in the snow was badly paced, the guy just lost his sister due to a tragic accident, and after comforting him overnight, they are laughing, playing and frolicking in the snow? Quite ill timed and badly plotted. Not realistic at all. After his sister’s death, he was much too calm and controlled. A more experienced person would have realized that it was the calm before the storm, all that pent up emotions had to go somewhere. And you can feel the FL’s self absorption, as she was too busy dreaming about their future to pay closer attention to his emotional need at the time, and maybe too young and inexperienced to read him properly.

Also, not to speak ill of the dead, I have to say Li Xun’s sister was quite stupid and gullible. Yes, money is a concern, but would you trust a stranger you just met in a hotel over your flesh and blood? The meds she was taking may have affected her judgment. I just wish LX had left a caretaker with her or introduced her to some of his other friends like Ren Di, so his sister would have other people to call/talk to instead of taking help from a stranger.

Well I have to say that Gao did plan his revenge quite well. He got back at the two people who made him lose his chances of going abroad. Both FZJ and Gao are nasty, but Gao is the nastiest in my book. It was obvious when he kept mentioning LX’s sister that he wanted FZJ to get back at LX by harming his sister. No one could have predicted the accident that killed LX’s sister, but one would have thought that the death of LX’s sister would make him feel too guilty to continue his nasty plan, but it still didn’t stop him from egging LX on. To be fair LX took many steps, which, if he had avoided, would have stopped the situation from escalating. He could have stayed away from the competition, so even if FZJ was looking for him, if he wasn’t physically there, then there’s no way for the situation to escalate; he could have avoided a confrontation with FZJ and so on. I think GAO’s hatred for LX runs deep and has had many years to build and fester. Him losing the award was the last straw for him, he had long wanted to get out of LX’s shadow. So throwing him a bone by making him work alongside them in the new company wasn’t going to cut it.

Why does Fang Zhijing have so much influence? i don't understand. Didn't he clearly rig the previous competition…
FZJ’s family is said to be very influential, that’s why he has so much clout with business leaders and can get away with murder. He’s indirectly responsible for the death of two women.

Ep 9 & 10 do a good job of explaining why Gao finally went to the dark side. I don’t blame him, I too would start to lose faith in a friend who doesn’t respect me or includes me in important decisions.

Title Unexpected Falling Spoiler
I thought the stuff in front of the factory was really gripping! It gave Gao Jun an opportunity to observe Zhenzhen…
Me too! He deserves to suffer, considering what he put her through with her in laws and the way he lies and obfuscates the truth to her all the time. I don’t appreciate the way he gaslights her all the time. It’s one of the worst things a man can do to a woman, making her doubt her own instincts and judgments. Hopefully, she continues to trust her own judgement and not depend on him all the time; otherwise it would be like moving from one jailer to another.

Title My Calorie Boy Spoiler
For me this drama was perfect until the last episode. Such a realistic youth drama was spoiled by such a cliché ending. Someone really ought to teach Cdrama production companies how to end a drama well. Because a perfect drama can be derailed by a sloppy ending, no matter how good a drama is, the ending is what stands out the most in people’s minds when they remember a drama or movie. That was why Titanic was so huge for decades because of its tragic ending. Now, onto some spoilers: Female lead was NOT professional AT ALL at her work place. I can’t believe she walked out of a meeting with a potential client, in the presence of her boss. That he had to make excuses for her. Then she starts a personal argument with said client in a work setting. No matter the provocation, there is etiquette in business and I can’t believe the writing overlooks that. There’s little difference from her high school character and her as a working professional. Secondly, the way the writers chose to resolve the couple’s differences is so cringe. Everyone wearing school uniforms on a shooting set is just unbelievable. Wouldn’t it have been better and much more romantic to have had their kiss and conversation privately without the onlooking audience smh?

for some reason no one who works with him in the office is at the courtroom either
They probably dislike him too much to bother coming to his court room, and given his personality, he probably prefers it that way.

Injoo definitely did not kill her
I m confused. Wasn’t she at home sleeping with the orchid? And then we see her sleepwalking in her Great Aunt’s house. How can she be in two places at once?

@nozeworld, I agree with you. Twice he has tried to protect her, she doesn’t listen to him and finds herself in hot water. She can be painfully stupid at times.

I asked myself these questions, too. At this point, I officially hate her character. She can excuse her friends dad for being a murderer, but she can’t forgive her family for being the working poor. She has a screwed up sense of values. The only thing that can redeem her in my book, is if her reason for staying with the Park family is because she wants to protect her vulnerable, scarred friend, and she’s coming up with her own plan. Judging from the questions she asked her friend in the last episode, that just might be the case, then she would not be as stupid as I think she is. She seems to be quite a smart teenager, though judging from her actions, it’s often hard to believe.

Third child Beth dies in childhood, and so does the third sister in this series. I finally see the similarities between both the March and the Oh families. But unlike the March family where the sisters knew each other. In Kyung didn’t remember her younger sister at all. In the original Little Women, I always disliked Amy and was quite pissed when she married Laurie, I felt their relationship was contrived and she didn’t deserve him. Like wise I really dislike In Hye, I hate how she rebuffs her sister’s kindness and advice, and constantly makes them feel small. I understand why she feels ashamed of her family, but she needs to realize that no stranger will love her more than her sisters do, though I really should cut her some slack. How can she trust her sisters when her own mother stole her funds for a trip abroad and disappeared on her?
