(EP 3 spoiler) Was there any reason to have the scene where Tum was accidentally in the womens change room?? At…
You're right. Lol. Maybe it was supposed to show he is disoriented and pre-occupied mentally. I think he has a crush on Tiffy so maybe he made that mistake because he couldn't think straight. I don't think it had much meaning. I just laughed when I saw it thinking he is so absent-minded. I thought.. "How do you make that mistake?!" I didn't even know there was such a thing as unisex dressing rooms. Maybe like one room called a family dressing room, but a bunch of rooms like a regular dressing room like that? Never seen one of those before.
I'm writing my impressions as I watch the episode...They're getting in some got in so good little critiques, especially…
You dropped Sotus? ;-; I don't like how Kongpab uses that line either, but the rest of the series is gold. Whenever I hear people mention Sotus, it is always negative stuff. Where is someone who will say something positive about my baby Sotus?!
I did write some minimal unimportant spoilers of what happens in the novel, so for the persons who didn`t watch…
Well, I have read the first 3 chapters of Faraway Wanderers now, and it is much better than I thought.. The plot seems to have lots of humor and good points outside of the oncoming romance. In many books, this dies down and the plot becomes weaker later, but I will see.
I will admit that crime is like my least favorite genre, so I think Guardian is not really for me anyways. It was something I more started because of its sheer popularity hoping that because it was so popular than I'd enjoy it anyways.
I am aware of the translation issue. In general, I find the relationship between the two main characters in Guardian very weird.. It is very hard for me to point where their (romantic) attraction is for each other which makes me start to understand some of the commenters on here saying stuff like it feels like lust assuming the two characters in Faraway Wanderer have a similar dynamic. The way you have said it as well makes it feel like it's initial lust/attraction turned into love. I hope it doesn't turn me off.
I am not a big reader or talented at reading for fun. I am talented at reading textbooks for school though. Hahahahah. I have started a good amount of Chinese novels and have only finished like 2 or 3. One of those being The Untamed's novel.
Also at least for the translator of the first chapters of Faraway Wanderer.. this is the best translator I have ever read forreal.

Thanks for all the info. It seems this book tackles many psychological issues like you said. I hope what you said helps someone else decide if they want to read the book also, not just me. I will read a little bit to see if the story and characters are interesting to me like you said.
And I am at least a little familiar with Priest. I read the first 34 chapters of Guardian but stopped. If I was going on only the author, since that's all I read of her and do not have some super amazing opinion about her, I would not have any interest. I remember in the parts of Guardian I read that the book was really funny but it was also hard to keep up with the characters. I have a predisposition to the wuxia, fantasy, historical type novels anyways, so I'll give it a try.
I think it is best anyways to skip novels that are not translated. It is too much to wait sometimes 2 or 3 weeks for one chapter. Eventually you just forget about the book and stop reading.
I think so too and I'm curious. Considering the toxic fans, the ambition of every character, etc. But that's why…
Yeah. I think the only pure relationship is Tum and Tiffy and they are probably just gonna be sitting in the middle with a bunch of chaos happening around them. I know Aey has just got to be evil..
For the "sexual" aspect, lol it doesn't bother me if it is logical with the plot and if it has a meaning lol Gene…
Yeah. The show has time to develop, and I definitely agree that he is getting something out of it too. But I feel like so far, what he is getting out of it is just a byproduct of other people manipulating him.
When he agreed to write the BL novel, let Nubsib stay at his house, or agree to kiss Nubsib, he was not thinking, "Oh! I will use this for ____." He was genuinely convinced and manipulated into doing things he doesn't want to do. It just so happened that he can get something out of it (therefore byproduct).
Probably later on he will start to somewhat enjoy his situation because he will realize all the possible benefit he can get out of it.. OR maybe later he will realize he is fortunate, well-known, and has lots of money.. but his dream was to write fantasy horror novels and he never got there.
So it is true not everything is black and white or all or nothing, but I definitely see Gene being taken advantage of more than not being taken advantage of.
Based on the reviews from the people who went to the premiere, it's a funny story. They watched the first three…
Thanks so much for the update!!! I am glad it is better than the trailer, but I guess the relationship development is just slow? I don't know what to say about the step-brother one.. I will definitely be watching to find out.
I mean, it seems weird, but my roommate sometimes drys her hair in the morning with a blow-dryer when I'm sleeping, and while it's crazy loud, it kind of puts me to sleep more.. so I kind of understand.
Y'all it makes so much sense that the director from TharnType picked up this series.. Oh My Life.
It seems this show is going to get very sexual very fast. I usually don't like series that get overly sexual. I dropped TharnType, Why R U, and Love By Chance.. maybe this one will be different for me? I dunno.. I find shows that become too sexual lose their steam because the plot quickly just becomes when, where, how, and why they are gonna have sex next which is not really something I look forward to every week.
I will stay optimistic because I LIKE this, but.. I think Nubsib is a little manipulator too. I like Gene and don't want him to get used.
I think what you said is true. Their love story is hard to believe, and Priest's writing style really does seem the way you describe.
Really, you convinced me to read the novel and I am enjoying it so far so cheers to that.
