The author's wife played a big role in determining the romantic pairings so it does not really make sense Just like Tang Jia San Shao whose wife passed away recently, married authors usually make nonsensical changes to romantic pairings to pleasure their spouses. Haha. It's about 7 years old so it makes sense. I am not exactly the biggest fan but many of the things that it did well have been copied and recycled repeatedly on other shows. The impact of this show is a lot than you can imagine. You probably watched at least two knock offs or three. Try Me Too Flower or Soul 2009. Never watched the latter but both are quite unique unlike this. Cheers!
