Truly a talented beautiful cast and the story never slowed down. You can tell the whole staff and cast put their all into this sports drama. I keep re-watching all the competition scenes. They're amazing and well filmed!
Well, i just finished binging this whole thing in 3 days and I gotta say that was of lot of fun!:) I was angry, thrilled, and very entertained in pretty much every single episode so to me, no matter how bad the script is, it’s a winner if you consistently entertain me. The pace wasn’t slow because the love triangle was like a side story and the main focus was solving back to back murders and finding this stupid pearl (which i thought we would never find tbh). I disagree with the previous comments about the FL. I was pulled in initially because of her expressive acting when I saw the 1st episode on YT. I kept thinking that the whole cast was really well chosen but i personally felt that the script was lazy towards the end. Tbh I’d probably watch season 2 if they actually do that, but only for the same cast. This was my first time seeing a period murder mystery drama like this so now i’m on the hunt for similar ones!
As a former student who would start hallucinating after staying up late, i related to this movie on deep level. Haha but i really like how simple the story was so i was able to concentrate on the characters and their relationships

not sure if i should have read the novel first but so far the main cast is literally bringing the novel to LIFE! the main two ML and FL's expressions are so natural and give me butterflies. i'm loving everything about this drama so far.
