yo this was soooooooo cute and wholesome. just a short beautiful drama about a chosen father and a chosen daughter. i’m so happy this was on iqiyi! the main little girl’s acting was so professional my jaw dropped multiple times. especially with her regal princess presence as she walked down the stairs! i’d def watch again!
Thank you Netflix for putting this up there for the US even though it’s for a limited time! Everyone watch it while it’s up there! It’s rewatch time again for me!:)
Kim Sae Ron, no one can deny your excellent and top class acting, your natural beauty, and hard work in all your works. but I imagine it will be your genuine kindness and easy-to-love love reflected in your many genuine friendships with others, that will go on and never fade away. I didn’t know you, but for some reason i feel like i grew up watching your dramas and i got to see you grow up with me. So for some reason I really miss you right now and my heart keeps aching thinking about what you went through before moving on to heaven before us. Praying warm arms over your family and friends beautiful girl!
It’s been a minute, but AMNSE you have successfully pulled me back into a filipino show binge ! I’m INVESTED!!!! Got me subscribing to viva one and everythin. The cast is pretty impressive so far! Love Ashtine!
The most unbelievably beautiful smile I’ve ever seen. His character in Moon Embracing the Sun single-handedly altered the way I see and value side characters because some of them, if written well and acted well, have the crazy power to change or faithfully push the plot of a story in a better direction. That’s how great of an actor he was. Back then, like more than 10 years ago, my siblings and I had just started watching dramas, and after watching his acting in METS and having many heated discussions about his character, we decided to create a whole category to group these scene stealers who were uninvolved in any love triangle or love interest but they were so supportive, loyal, skilled, kind, and respectful to the main characters that just their presence in any scene made you wish they also received credit for the victories or have their own love arc and attention. We named this group of characters “Woons” after his character Jae Woon. We love these kind of characters so much mostly because they’re unproblematic and lovable. I think in honor of him, we shall now change the group name to “Jae Rims” or “Rims”.
A lot of annoying but quick misunderstandings stemming from assumptions but later they come full circle. overall…
My mini theory for the ending is that after surviving from the gun shot (probably a bullet proof vest) he decided to secretly find the original opium sources to get rid of them and that’s why their town has been experiencing peace for the past 4 years. He’s only able to come back because he finished his solo mission. I love happy endings. :)
A lot of annoying but quick misunderstandings stemming from assumptions but later they come full circle. overall a great cast and the storyline was exciting! I love mini dramas and this is a great one!
Storyline and script was kinda eh angsty. But finished and enjoyed it because the cast was really good. The expressions and chemistry between them all were on point and they’re all so young and fairy-like beautiful.
I just saw a clip of over an hour where a deaf/mute woman finds and helps a blind man, brother Xiu I think. For…
OMG THIS LITERALLY JUST HAPPENED TO ME A FEW MINUTES AGO. I’m so sad I got invested thinking she was going to fall in love with Brother xiu but it turns out he’s just the second lead? :( I guess I’ll have to watch the whole thing to find out. I feel strangely comforted that i’m not the only one who experienced this. I feel scammed by youtube.

And her older drama My Lonely Planet!
