Apparently this was made back in 2014 but it doesn’t look like it. Everything from acting to set was impressive. Great short empowering story with a slightly abrupt ending. Im glad they shared this movie with us!
out of all the characters that EleanorLee has acted as, this is by far one of my favorites. I don’t know why, but her intelligence and techy cleverness like how she was able to open that booby trap treasure box or solve the labyrinth prison was so refreshing to me. And she was so lovable. It was a ride but i enjoyed this drama. Mostly for the gorgeous costumes, set designs (i would literally pause the video and stare with my jaw dropped open whenever they were in their secret lair. It was so beautiful.) and the martial arts made it so fun especially with the cool props they got to use. Obviously they really paid attention to image detail. So fun and pretty.

honestly, the two main actors (wan peng and riley wang) were a match made in heaven. they just suit each other really well. a fun light watch about pursuing your dreams and being thankful for the people who help you get to where you are now.

Honestly, of all the chinese dramas i've been waiting for and binging in 2020, this one is definitely the SWEETEST. i feel like i got a toothache and a sugar high from how sweet the main characters were to each other haha. acting was great and the plot kept the same speed from beginning to end. even the bright and cool color palette stayed consistent throughout the whole show. it's really just a simple childhood best friends to young adult couple story. what made this drama stand out to me was how sincere nanxi and xia rui were to each other when they finally realized they were childhood friends in the past...even crying and hugging..protecting each other so sincerely. and the child actors of the main characters were so on point and precious! solid watch! shoutout to the subber who subs them on her website!

Oh his ex? She gets caught cheating on him with another guy because you find out she’s looking for a rich husband. Miao yu confronts her and she’s super indifferent about the whole thing.
