awe, i think the whole bowl cut, especially the bangs perfectly frames her face shape! i honestly can’t imagine anyone in the world that could pull off this hair style like she’s doing. Her character is supposed to be a high schooler so this cut makes her look a lot younger than she actually is. it really suits her character.
does anyone know the posting schedule of the episodes for this??? i binged the first 4 and now i have to wait bwahahahaha! i missed seeing Hyang gi in quirky comedy! she’s such a versatile actress! i was laughing so hard my family told me to be quiet ahahaha
not enough Bang Eun Mi. Fun story and great well chosen cast. But i wish there was more backstory for the other characters with superpowers. and i'll never stop saying it, not enough Bang Eun Mi. period. Like why add a character who wasn't originally in the webtoon, and not share ANYTHING about her to make her relatable? literally NOTHING. how did she discover her power? who is her family? is she an orphan? there's no reason behind her staying in this secret society and risking her life for these people for so long? what is her motivation? why in the world is she dieting and eating salads when she could be training her stomach to eat more calories or be eating more foods to boost her brainpower?? although that glass scene that she was in was pretty cool i'll admit. I love Bang Eun Mi! more of her please!
The whole cast, especially UEE, were outstanding. There were some scenes that my jaw dropped because i was like, "dang everyone is locked INNN" while sobbing and in awe!
Woahhh..i just read some research into the Jeju uprising April 3rd incident which is the background of this movie. So scary and sad. I’m glad i know this now before watching the movie! I have a feeling it will get awards
yo this was soooooooo cute and wholesome. just a short beautiful drama about a chosen father and a chosen daughter. i’m so happy this was on iqiyi! the main little girl’s acting was so professional my jaw dropped multiple times. especially with her regal princess presence as she walked down the stairs! i’d def watch again!

His character in Moon Embracing the Sun single-handedly altered the way I see and value side characters because some of them, if written well and acted well, have the crazy power to change or faithfully push the plot of a story in a better direction. That’s how great of an actor he was. Back then, like more than 10 years ago, my siblings and I had just started watching dramas, and after watching his acting in METS and having many heated discussions about his character, we decided to create a whole category to group these scene stealers who were uninvolved in any love triangle or love interest but they were so supportive, loyal, skilled, kind, and respectful to the main characters that just their presence in any scene made you wish they also received credit for the victories or have their own love arc and attention. We named this group of characters “Woons” after his character Jae Woon. We love these kind of characters so much mostly because they’re unproblematic and lovable. I think in honor of him, we shall now change the group name to “Jae Rims” or “Rims”.
