It was not so bad for quick watch/binge-watch. Half of it filled with funny moments and quirky dialogues. But the workplace settings felt too Gen-Z compliance (you will know what I mean if you have watched many Japanese work dramas and make comparison to this one). It's also felt like a bit of PR for tabloid magazine publishers. Either way, the poster did a good job in explaining what you could expect from this drama. I personally rated this 7.5/10 for its entertainment value.
Amazing drama with characters that 100 times more complex and interesting than any fictional ones. It's a shame that I'm not familiar with these comedians/artists (I only saw Shizu in random dramas and maybe Yama-chan doing cameo in Attention Please long ago), or otherwise it would be super amazing watching experience. The writing was perfect although I was not a fan of the back and fourth time jump. This is super highly recommended if you like dramas that portray realistic struggles and (strangely real) complex characters.
Considering the theme and how Jdrama usually handles it, this drama was not bad at all. I think the yankee portion was nicely minimized to avoid the overloading yankee cringe-ness. I personally think this is better than Ameku Takao as far as the Hashimoto Kanna acting goes.
First episode was kind of hard to digest with the unusual styles, modern language narration, cultural reference, etc. But as the series progressed the characters grown on me. It's a good slice of life jidaigeki overall.
This is even better with a rewatch. Now I noticed the small details like you have to detach the "can ring" to open a "can drink"...lol I missed it during the first watch.
I think they did better on the musical part in this SP. Maybe this is best watched after rewatching the series. The continuity is superb you will feel like it was filmed right after the last episode. Not to mention most of the characters from the series are here.
may i ask where you were able to watch this, i can't find it anywhere :c someone in the comments below mentioned…
You can at least download the subtitle from d-addicts (by registering) but you need to find the video files somewhere else online. Here is direct link to the subtitle: https://www.d-addicts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=167049
If you want to get your hand dirty you can try download the video from streaming site like asiaflix[dot]net. The search function is broken there but if you browse the "Japan Section" you will see the poster of this drama. You need third party browser extension to rip the video. For example "Video DownloadHelper". However upon checking, I think the video files from this website are not in HQ. But it is better than nothing.
The safe bet is to subscribe to drama-otaku notification. Hopefully they will inform you when they are opened for new registration.

You can't watch directly at Drama-Otaku. They only provide links to the subtitle and video files, which you need to download and play it locally on your system. You have to have an account at drama-otaku.
If you can find the video files elsewhere you might as well register at d-addicts[dot]com forum to get the subtitle.
Overall a good series to watch especially if you like work/career theme but I personally think it could be better without the romance (that felt like they just had to include it because it's a female POV story).
Ah the last episode felt too slow and draggy. With heavy dialogues telling the obvious and common sense, the last episode simply anti-climatic and had killed the otherwise a good series.
You can watch this at 24-7 SAMURAI-SHINOBI Youtube Channel (link in spoiler). It's membership channel with half of their videos locked for members only, but at the time writing this, this SP drama is free to non members (it was locked before). They might lock it again in the future though.
