yes hello, i'm just your typical angel who has descended down from the heavens cause i was summoned to reply to…
Hi, if you don't mind would you also share the song on the OST thread above? It would be beneficial to people who might be looking for it but too lazy to scroll down the comments.
15 years ago in the movie beck they had too mute Satoh Takeru because the character was described to have an angelic…
The moment she was asked to prepare in the makeup room on the ferry, I knew the drill already because why in the world you use makeup room over there. But never expected the "F3" (instead of only ML) to come to the rescue. LOL
This drama just did not meet my expectation. In a nutshell, it is more of "Boys over music, visual over story". It was mainly written and produced to target female audience with characters felt like Shoujo manga. I was hoping for more music plot, with intricacies of work behind the scene (imagine Oshi no Ko) but here it felt pretentious with those unnecessary random philosophies as well as overly exaggerated scenes. The musics were arguably good but with something sounded generically J-pop, it nullified the genius eccentric premise who even write scores on his bedroom wall. LOL I mean it should work just fine with normal genius person.
Now, I wonder why they show characters wearing shoes in indoor scenes. Were they afraid international audience can't relate should the characters remove theirs?
I have notes! But first of all, I love the cast - my first Takeru Satoh drama that I can remember was Bloody Monday…
LoL there are too many ridiculousness apart from what you have listed above and what @realdeal mentioned about the boat
Let me add some more 1. In the first episode in the rain scene, it's hard to believe that they left the expensive Grand Piano on stage to be soaked in rain. They should have covered it first if they did not have time to move it inside.
2. In the same rain scene, our drummer did not have time to pack the drum set into the car, but she had time to arrange them in the rain to a "playable" position. Remember that without proper locking the bass drum will also move forward as you kick the pedal.
3. In the same rain scene, it is hard to believe that the two of them ML and FL can hear each other very clearly under that weather condition and the distance between them. Remember that typically even the drum set on stage requires proper mic-ing. The piano wasn't mic-ed too and the top cover was closed.
4. In the same rain scene, it is hard to believe that ML got stroke by lightning but not FL which is the one with most risk as she was not covered by any roof or building structure in that open field.
5. It is so unreal that FL had to go through audition just to play music. She might just form a band by looking around her music circle (don't tell me she doesn't have). Drum is high demanding position in a band anyway so hard to believe she was not part of any after 3 years. *ehem*plot*ehem*convenience*ehem*
That's just only from Episode 1. I have many more but it will be too much...lol
I want to add to the scene with candles. Not only candles are unrealistic. Who helped him to arrange and lighting those candles? That was hell of tedious work. Remember also he only played piano, but suddenly in the middle of song there were other instrument sounds as well.
I like the concept of the show and the start but unfortunately the pacing of the show was terrible. Problem with…
The time-skip is a typical Japanese movie style where you have to guess the season/time changes from the clues on screen (surrounding, weather, and clothing). Whether or not this style was effectively used in this series, is a different story...LoL
For me, even with 10 episodes, this series felt draggy. The plot was too shallow, cliche and full of tropes for the writer to expand it further. Except for some plot holes that she forget to put closure at the end.
Yeah anything related to the band was not realistic (not only the band progress). The backstories were contradicted with the initial premise from earlier episodes.
Finally able to watch this after watching the prequel seasons. While the S2 felt a bit more over the top to me than the S1, this movie (which is a continuation of S2) however felt more entertaining thanks to the conflict in its second half.
This is one of the better mystery investigation dramas in the sense that all the twists and turns were made sense, and not just there to fool the viewers. I would have given this 9/10 if not for some "slow and stupid" actions of the MC in some situations. Overall it was an amazing watch with memorable characters...I guess amazing acting by everyone.
BTW, there are few things that remain unexplained; 1. Who tips off the police on the 13 children skeletal. I mean the mansion is very deep and the kids were neglected in the first place, so no way the parents will. I just can assume it was Suzuki, but the drama did not give clear explanation on this. 2. Who put the flowers around the yard around the time they scatter off Haikawa ashes. The flowers location then bringing Hasumi to the discoveries of diaries buried by Haikawa. Again, the drama did not clearly explain this. 3. It was not clear why Ryo-nichan (scar man) wanted to kill Saeki near the waterfall.
It's a standard case per episode Jdrama. The highlight was Hashimoto Kanna cuteness as well as the medical conditions involved in the cases. Pretty fresh and fun to watch, but nothing groundbreaking. 8/10 according to my rating system.
I didn’t even wanna sign up for that kind of site, it's just annoying. But the worst thing about it is, once…
Drama Otaku doesn't do all the sub (except for SARS fansub releases), but other fansubbers (almost majority of them) uploaded their subs there. If you know who sub a drama, you might as well go directly to the particular fansubber site/livejurnal/blog without relying on drama otaku.
Great sequel. I think this is much interesting than the Part 1 with the addition of Sato Koichi and Shiina Kippei. A bit more action and the bromance is also fire in this one. I mean "real bromance" not some censored romance disguised as bromance.
This movie is now streamable on 24/7 Samurai-Shinobi Youtube channel (formerly Samurai Vs Ninja). Catch it while it's free.
This is surprisingly good despite the poster (that looked a bit bland and boring). Not many action in this "Part 1" but the psychological state of Baian is interesting to watch/guess.

I was honestly really disappointed by the finale. They did such a good job making the JBN head seem like the key…
In this kind of plot in Jdramas, Mei's character will never beat the Overpower Abe's character.
Not a fan of the ending too. They were trying too hard to make the twist that they put photo of American soldiers without PPE on potentially radioactive site...LoL just for the sake of plot twist. The hint for S2 was kind of lame too cause we know even if we get S2 the real culprit won't be revealed in this kind of setup. The lame foot killer will be just another underling.

Hopefully one day they will continue EVOL with S2, but I doubt some of the kids have become mature by that time....haha
