This is the real definition of slice of life....LOL.. The story-telling is unique but may confuse some of the viewer. The depiction of school life is perfect, it brings back memory. But don't expect any dramatic changes of event, because just like i said earlier it's really a slice of life of a group of school students (5days of their life to be exact).

Yes exactly! It looks like they couldn't find better solution for that Hiiragi jump off building plot, but still need to do something about it because that scene had been hinted right from the 1st episode..LOL

Haha...yes just realized only 3 dramas have reached 40% and 2 of them are from the recent years LOL.

Haven't watched 101st prop, under one roof and Ie naki Ko. Only saw few minutes of few episodes of Beautiful Life when it was airing on local TV (clashed with other shows). I quite surprise to see HN won over those 90's 2000's drama in terms of rating. Although it's one of the best drama I've ever watched.

Only find the time to watch this recently, but i just want to say Ito Atsushi and Sambomaster is a good "combi"...that ending kind of remind me the Densha Otoko drama....LMFAO

The first episode was amazing, then several after that were good, but the rest was "ima-ichi". Ending was predictable but Suda Masaki's acting on that last extended speech scene was top notch. Still interesting enough to keep you watching and wondering on the plot throughout the series.

Yup that was ridiculous plot IMO. Considering Hiiragi is portrayed as a person who would prepare everything before-hand, that scene doesn't make any sense. Because you can't precisely estimate how quick other students to reach the roof-top to help Kayano.

This drama is surprisingly good! A bit slow pace, slice of life feeling, but worth the time for watching. Nothing much on the medical, but more on parenting and unique view of life from the perspective of 17y.o. girl (that somehow resembles Ayase Haruka...lmao...then after checking her profile, she was the teenage Balsa in Seirei no Moribito...no wonder).

Looks like a light and fun watch. Will give this a try once the subs complete.

Wow! Thanks for the info. Japanese drama/literature/manga are always good when it comes to portraying non usual jobs (but exist in real life) and the people involve around it.

Nowadays I only watch something only if the subs are complete to avoid possible future frustration.. :P But it looks like 3nenAgumi subs are going smoothly and will probably watch it soon when it finished. :)

This has been in my PTW for a long time but only managed to watch it few days ago. I was fooled by the synopsis and was hoping for a more real depiction of historical drama. But this drama took the "shojo manga" logics to the bone...LOL...now I regretted to have put this on my PTW list! :P

And also I'm sorry to say this, but if you liked this drama and were thinking to look for other japanese historicals, then you're on the wrong impression! You most probably only liked the Shojo aspect of it and not japanese historical in general.

Yes I completed it and like it in the sense that it's a good educational watch. It's more like "what is this job" kind of drama.

This drama is not the fancy type, although it has many younger actors. The ROMANCE tag is misleading so don't watch this if you're looking for some sweet moments between the leads. But if you're looking for workplace/career drama, this is it! In other words this is a story of 1 department in japanese welfare, and how would the job being carried out.

I personally find this drama is a good watch and educational at the same time. I don't think many japanese people aware about this "healthy lifestyle minimum standard" thing, so obviously this drama main purpose is more on the awareness part as opposed to the entertainment part.

For the sake of people who's thinking to watch this or not, I can confirm that there's no romance in the plot.

The setup might takes some time, but after that the result can be sort out much more easily. Right now setup easy, but sorting out...?
Anyway my proposal is for preliminary stage only. The entertaining part should be when everyone "can vote" at the end of the year.

I missed that one (and did not nominate in the previous years too), but still like you said it's meaningless if only few people nominating a least watched drama. It can't beat the popularity anyway.

I am expecting a small but a more credential nominations so it must be other than simply writing any titles in comment section. I know it would be tough job, but you can set up a form (like google doc's one) for preliminary nominations.

Then there could be 2 lists in each category; one watched list, the other nomination list. It must be category-based kind of participation. I mean people only nominate based on what they qualified for. So obviously some category will have lower numbers than the other.

The idea is to encourage nomination in the genre that they like the most not randomly nominate any titles to just fill in the empty box.

Anyway, it's nice to know that admin is looking for improvement! :)

I would give this 8 if not because of the 'out of nowhere' love plot. Overall a watchable drama but don't expect too much from it.
