I may just be weird, but I enjoyed the Korean Suits so much more than the American Suits. I don't know what it is....maybe the cultural shift? I just never could get into the original Suits...sorry guys!! I love this Korean version a lot! Loved all the actors and the story. Cinematography is so good!
I found this drama so boring that I couldn't finish it, I gave up watching it
I got to ep 6. It was fun at first, but same. And I don't know what it is, because I love strong FL....but the last couple of eps she has begun to rub me the wrong way..... I just can't place exactly why the character is beginning to be irritating. But maybe it's just because the plot is so slow....idk........
What a gem of a series that I just stumbled upon. So much MORE than I was expecting! It had real LGBTQ+ vibe with splashes of classic BL tossed in. So sweet! Lifted my mood! Great OST!
I loved the little details like how their shirts often fit the mood/theme. Like Hantae's one shirt is ep6 with the English quote: "Love and manipulation They share houses very often."
Feels like an incomplete movie. Is there supposed to be a 2nd movie that explains the following....?
1) We don't know much about his master. Are we to know anything? 2) What about the girl with the green eyes? What is wrong with her? 3) Are the tomb making notes elsewhere? Or was it all just a scam? This movie didn't explain anything at the end. This is why it feels incomplete? Nothing was solved.
With so much being thrown at you in life, sometimes all you need/want is a simple plot with cuteness and some humor. This series was so cute! Had me smiling!
Anyone suggest to me wuxia drama with strong ml in term of fighting. I'm still new in wuxia series and only watch…
The recommended section has some good ones. Some of my favs:
The Untamed (series) Word of Honor (series) Demon Subduing Division 4 (stand alone movie) The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity (stand alone movie)
If you just LOVE amazing fight scenes where the action is done by the actors who are also really sword fighting stunt guys. This series fight sequences will BLOW YOUR FREAK'N MIND! They are not wuxia, but do take place in historical setting with also strong themes of justice/redemption: Rurouni Kenshin (2012 Movie) Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning (2021 Movie) Rurouni Kenshin: The Final (2021 movie)
Gotta love a Chinese drama that isn't 40-60 eps long and STILL is fun, with good plot, lots of moral themes, complex grey area bad guys (and good guys!), and a lot of action! You can power watch this series in 1 to 2 days (depending on your desires)!
I love series that show characters first experiences with love, especially sweet ones like this with nice male leads. Gives me butterflies still. Nice to see healthy non-toxic experiences. Good for the soul.
All i have to say is that if youre a KinnPorshe, Onlyfriends type of person, this show is not for you. The end.…
I am currently watching this and so far it is cute, light and sweet. No toxic anything....so far. It is a great starting BL especially if you not ready or up for KinnPorshe level ADULT dark chaos. This is more light hearted BL in the innocent traditional sense. I came over from Lost in Translation since has similar plot description and was recommended from someone I respect/trust to totally be good. So far it is meeting my warm/cozy expectations....
I liked the twist in the last episode but this type of ending is one of my least favorite . . . 😐
ikr.... Like we still don't know anything about his past or why he became this way!?!? What kind of trauma did he experience in reality? Or are we supposed to surmise some of that experience in reality based upon the riddles/game in the main story? Like how?!?! I feel so unsatisfied!
I consider this light bromance. There are a few scenes where it gets stronger, but not enough overall for me. Plus the FL love interest for one of the ML is always in the way ;D
A little with him and FL. Not a lot of depth to it, but it is there for most of the series; him being overly protective of her and she clinging to him in the stereotypical helpless female trope (despite being a fighter herself and the daugher of a war lord).
I may come back and try to finish later.
