At least for my region (north America), this series has left BOTH Viki and Netflix. It is now only on Youku. But Guardian is also on Youku.....so at least you can watch both together now ;)
I just rewatched this again! One of my favorite go-to-comfort series. The actors did such a good job. The awkwardness was so enjoyable :D And I love anything to do with gaming so that is a plus. Great series if you love happy endings ;)
This show is quite good, comfy, not that heavy on the heart, since I didn't cry during the whole series. It just…
I laughed when I read your comment because I had watched this series and as like.....this is cute by why does this feel so familiar..... then I realized that I HAD WATCHED IT BEFORE AND FORGOTTEN IT :D :D :D I did watch it again..... it *is* cute....but you are so right..... it is easily forgotten :D :D :D But I guess that is like real life....not all of us has hugely memorable thing happen to us.... a cute little sweet reality of happiness is more than we deserve. If only we are all blessed with this ;D
I took it to be one of many disorders of sex development that exist. The person can be described as 'intersex'.…
oooo... that is a good one also. It always confused me why the parents would treat Amber as female, so the 5-alpha-reductase-deficiency would probably make more sense :D
Is Amber transgender or a hermaphrodite? I was a little confused.
I took it to be one of many disorders of sex development that exist. The person can be described as 'intersex'. They didn't explain which one, because the story of the person is more important here than the details. If I were to guess, I think it would most likely be Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS).
P.S. Humans can not be hermaphrodites like flowering trees (producing both male and female gametes). Please use the word 'intersex' instead. The h word was used in the past by ignorant humans to describe intersex people (people with disorders of sex development) and is considered derogatory and offensive now, so please be courteous <3
Worth a watch if you bored and don't want to be too serious. The first ep was hard to get through, but it grows on you. It is a little dated (editing/sound/style), over-the-top characters and stories, cheesy at times...feels like a crazy manga come to life :D You get whiplash from the sudden serious/dark moments to the silly moments. I did laugh at a lot of the highjinks. It is clearly censored BL. Deadpool was even on the tv in one of the eps :D After finding out the sister was really a brother (in source material) it kind of makes a lot more sense...and I gotta give way more credit to the actress who played that daring role. For censorship....they had to definitely make one of them female; no way around that! :D For the budget they had, it was decent and you can feel that the director and crew....they went full into trying to make it work. Idk....I prolly would have loved this more if I watched it back when it first aired :D
Oh? Off and Gun in something darker with hopefully a good story and playing more mature/older characters.....?. You have my attention. Gun I bet would be great in angsty/emotional role where he can push himself as an actor, and having Off play a solid responsible, intelligent character is a great idea. Tentatively optimistic....
A good rewatch. It has an underlying story about inequality in society and injustice......so I feel that it MORE than just a generic BL. It has soul. It has heart. it has something to say about the problems in our society and ways in which we can change it for the better.....
