Ikr.... . BL is a way to get rid of the burdensome sexist tropes that hetero romance often has. BL usually gives more equality without the added sexist baggage. But sometimes..... you get surprised :D

I feel like this series would have been great as 10 eps. Not sure why so long. It has some fun scenes. Lots of cheesy, cliche moments. Gorgeous lead couple and second couple. I love the 4 actors in this. They are really the only thing that got me to finish it :D Worth a watch to enjoy the actors; just don't think too much about the details (some big loopholes). Maybe watch with a glass of wine :D

I feel like all death is meaningless, but it is the human condition to want (a desire?) to put a deeper meaning behind everything. We desire meaning in a meaningless world......? It is a sort of coping mechanism maybe.....?

I had a sense of connection and desire to know more in ep 1. I feel bad; maybe this wasn't the series for you, which is totally OK. I give you kudos for watching more than one episode......

The ending is a good pain. It is happy in that the ML fullfills what he wanted to . Plus they have a teasing hint at happy ending if you fill in the gaps..... :D

The cute 'deceptive beast' in episode 1 and our FL..... I would literally watch a whole series of just those two characters together. So much opportunity for humor. Especially if FL was written in the strong way she was in ep 1. Throw these two actresses together as the two FL in another series :D

May have also been filmed outside China....for censorship reasons. Meet You at the Blossom and Justice in the Dark were both filmed outside China for same reason.

His team was supposed to infiltrate and kill some important person in south korea, but they all died instead (well....Kim survived). It was clearly a trap for kim's team. Why?......because their boss in north korea instead secretly LEAKED the team's assignment to the south so that it would FAIL because he wanted his boss (the boss's boss) to fail so he could replace him. He didn't care if the team died to achieve his goal of getting power.
