That is a long complex answer. He touches on the jist of it as he leaves AGAIN in ep20. The parallel of older PS leaving with flashbacks of younger PS with the cat in the box and him sitting outside on bench in both instances. That was done on purpose to show you it is the same reason as now happening again.

That heavy conversation in ep21 is LWZ responding to PS's fears/concerns/hang-ups and telling Pei Su WHY he should STAY. The jist was lack of trust and that Pei Su sincerely believes himself to be a monster that doesn't deserve that trust anyway...so he didn't really fault LWZ for acting that way....he felt it was just expected since he is an apath/monster afterall. But I think it also hurt PS to be around LWZ knowing this (especially since he really likes LWZ now). It HURTS to be around someone that has no faith/trust in you. Like Pei Su thinks that if even LWZ finds fault with him then maybe his struggle not to be a monster is hopeless....that no matter how hard he tries/struggles, that he will still hurt people in the end. That is why LWZ told PS in ep21 how much he regretted it. That his younger self was an idiot and didn't notice PS's silent cries for help. LWZ is wiser since he aged some and he is making it clear to PS that he failed to explain himself properly in the past....that he does believe in and trust PS. And this is what changes PS world for the better.

EDIT: Also want to add that this is why early in season, PS also had his dark I-am-a-monster mask on whenever he talked to LWZ. Because he believed that this is what LWZ thought of him, he just played it up to the max. Since you think I am a monster, I will act like one. The change started at end of ep4 after they saved that women/mom from jumping off building: LWZ found PS on the bench and he APOLOGIZED to PS. This totally caught PS off guard and confused him. You can see his mask even slip off a lot here.

That scene you describe in ep30, when Luo is holding Pei Su.... it is like he is hugging him for all those moments because he really deserves/need a hug so bad 😢 I totally cried during both those moments also! 😭😭😭 I teared up back in ep4 when Pei Su was on that big video screen asking questions about what a mom would do 😭 His mom had such a huge impact on his life 😭

I only know the translations of the the one Yugiosubs has done on youtube. The songs sound good...but also knowing the translation makes them even better!

Poor Luo. Pei Su keeps lots of secrets. Due to his unfortunate childhood, he has learned to not share openly anything with anyone, so I think he doesn't know how to maybe? Like his instincts scream at him to not trust others, and it is hard to fight against that instinct. Part of their dynamic is Pei Su learning how to do that more: to share info willingly, to seek help, to be open.

Sure, LWZ is upset because of all the things Pei Su keeps from him, but I think he realizes maybe that Pei Su isn't doing it on purpose out of spite....it is just his traumatized nature. LWZ is such an inwardly patient and understanding and forgiving soul, so it is lucky that Pei Su found someone like him. Over time, I think Pei Su will learn how to balance secrets/truths and learn to trust others more.

OMG YES... the traitor line how you described it is PERFECT. LWZ was really hurt for sure....he thought he'd lose him. "Punishment" for couples can also be something cute and flirty....like he will 'punish' him in bed later (wink wink) ....so it can also be flirting ;)

And I agree with you. I assume that LWZ wasn't hiding from Pei Su in hospital, but you can definitely interpret it that LWZ was still upset...but secretly visited him hospital cause he still loves him. And Pei Su is smart...he'd know that LWZ was there anyway. UGH....we can pick this apart FOREVER :D

It's complicated. It isn't that he doesn't trust him.... it is more that he knows that Pei Su is clearly in the CENTER of these events and has lots of secrets. They both are not trusting each other (or just not telling EVERYTHING to each other).... But ep 20 thru22 is sooooooo GOOOOOOOOOOOD ;) Keep going!

This is how I feel about it:

Since this is a censored BL, a lot of times there is code phrases to mean something else. The "We agreed to go to Ta Ze together" matches the same line back in ep6 at Pei Su's mom's grave. In ep6 LWZ asked Pei Su to go together. In ep30, Pei Su said it back at him...as if reinforcing their TOGETHER....meaning they are going to be together always from now on...and he is reminding LWZ that he hasn't forgotten that promise. He is teasing him in a flirting way and reminding him of the beginning.

The "You disappeared before I woke up in the hospital" is more closer to "Someone who disappeared without a trace....." It isn't him being mad. Disappearing is what Pei Su did to LWZ without telling him and Pei Su knows how much that hurt LWZ. He's acknowledging he understands how that feels (he's apologizing in an indirect way), but also that he came and hunted him down (just like how LWZ hunted him down). Meaning that they will both always go after the other no matter what. It emphasizes togetherness and commitment. It is also a joke on how clingy LWZ (especially in book) and how Pei Su is mimic-ing him (Pei Su can be clingy too if that makes LWZ happy).

They tried to pack a lot of meaning in just a few sentences that has to pass annoying censorship. Focus more on the meaning here on the end and less on details. They did have to cut a bunch of stuff due to censorship, that confusing feeling of it not being smooth is probably why.

One of the reasons to not public post the archive is so scrubbers don't find it...and so it doesn't get taken down. This is why is best to always post the account itself. A few extra clicks for added saftey for our subbers is worth it :)

I wondered if he even knew about him? When he saw that picture Little Glasses had at end of himself as a kid with his adopted-in-his-head 'dad' (the dad being Janitor's precious student).....he seemed surprised.....

I feel the love just oozing all over the place. It is a slow burn initially as they cat/mouse one another...but it builds and builds and some of the scenes with them staring at one another had me blushing.....but so happy.

It's insane how a good series can just warmly wrap around you and control your thoughts for a few months. It's almost like being in a relationship with a super clingy person that you just can't stop obsessing over. You just can't focus on anything else. It is just intense.

Or is it only me this happens to?

As a side note, I bet someone will make a fanfic for the missing moments in last ep! I won't be surprised! ;)
