This is not airing in China (it was cancelled). It is only airing on Wowow app in Japan. A lot of people here are watching mostly by private/friend fan subs in English or the bad AI translated english sub with poor resolution on Kisskh. We are hoping it shows up on Viki app with good english subtitles after done airing in Japan. But if you know the language, you could probably just watch it on Wowow (lucky!) since you don't need it translated :) I have no idea if you are able to access Wowow website while in China. I watched that episode sooooooo many times; only reason I noticed it ;) It is such a quick background dialogue!

For anyone new to Lost Tomb franchise: You can watch any of the Lost Tomb series in any order. Each series gives enough for you to understand what is going on; plus they are all different casts. Some of the series even have overlap in stories. It doesn't matter. Just watch what interests you.

BL in China is considered wrong and is banned. But people tend to love stories about love happening between two people even when it is blocked/banned by others (think Romeo and Juliet). Love that can last despite being oppressed by outside forces is love at its best and most pure and sincere. I think a lot of BL fans are drawn by this. Plus good looking men.

My vibe is that he isn't an apath, but his father thought he was and raised him to be such. Or...something mentioned on the radio in one of the earlier episodes: they said that the gene for detecting Apaths was only 99%. The other 1% who had the gene abnormality were not Apaths, but simply geniuses. So I am thinking that even if Pei su has the bad gene or whatever....he isn't actually an Apath like his father, but one of the rare genius. What do you think?

Exactly. Multiple ending can be filmed. Or maybe they had a longer 'happy' ending. If it aired entirely in China, they might have had to cut it before that part. Any number of reasons.

Slow set up at beginning....but it will hit the ground running! Edge of your seat/power watching stuff.

Some idiot took their translation and uploaded it to a high traffic site that has advertising (making money!) where it is going to get noticed in a bad way. I don't blame the translator for deleting at all; you don't want that coming back to you.

On the up side, I feel like this series must be popular enough that i am really hoping Viki picks it up after wowow finishes airing. I NEED TO FINISH THIS. I'll patiently wait; I'm optimistic.

The crap translation on those sites you mentioned are missing like half of what people saying; can't even follow what is going on. UGH.

Exactly! I notice more and more that newer series tend to be less just traditional BL but more closer to LGBTQ+ which is always a positive in my book. I hope to see more and more.

I mean....you gotta be pretty blind/naive to NOT see the queer. But hey...there are all types in the world, so there you go.
