It crazy to me that we as the viewers can see through his lies, but LSS (blinded by her rage) can't. :( So tragic.

TRUTH.

I think this is a lesson for anyone in power (aka immortal).

I really loved this scene and the MUSIC. It spoke of his fears and his desires.

I think part of it is also that LSS cannot separate out her future self (where he is her brother in immortal clan) and her YXW self where he is a different person. I think she keeps viewing him as her close brother instead of this stranger in the past. I feel like she is very young and naive immortal, but I guess that is the character. It frustrates me a lot.

I agree with you. Her character is often irrational.

I feel like a lot of the misunderstandings in C-dramas is just the LACK OF COMMUNICATION. What can ya do? 🤣

Seriously! I could look past all the other crazy mishaps she had....but this was soooooooooo ridiculous how long it took her. Such awkward writing. 😑

It shows that it is just not ONE person (LSS) who makes a difference, but the collective actions of a community that make a difference. Every individual is important as the each part of the WHOLE.

His Shifu is really one of the most influential characters on DG honestly.

Just because it plays on Viki international, it doesn't mean it has nothing to do with censorship in China. It is really censorship in China. Since two years ago, they have been cracking down hard on LGBTQ+ content including source material.

This one is great since a real human is making the subtitles you you can understand what is really going on :D

Viki is international app, so we see many things not aired in China on it. China denziens can use VPN at their own risk....or watch if they are outside China.

I know. I just emotional about it every time I get to watch a new ep!!!! :D

If we are patient and just wait for it to finish airing, I bet Viki or Netflix or something will pick it up for international streaming and give it good subtitles.

It is currently airing on Wowow in Japan (they picked up the rights for it).

It originally was cancelled in China so most eps never aired. It was just hanging in limbo until now.

Justice in the Dark is airing now on Wowow in Japan. I thought this series would NEVER see the light of day again. This gives me a little hope that maybe this could happen for Immortality also 🤡
