Omg! You read my mind. I find it so unnecessary and it breaks the emotional flow of the scene. One minute, I'm like...Aww that's sad, and the next I'm "why are there cartoons??"
I really don't understand the purpose of it. In ep. 1 first scene is acceptable but after it's annoying.

Oh Hao Du...he is so bad and sexy at the same time which makes him irresistible.
This drama has impeccable timing for music and emotional scenes. That scene when AS is comforting CG whilst watching the moon was so beautiful and the accompanying background music made it more poignant.
Usually I wouldn't care for characters like Leyan but ZLS makes her so fragile but endearing that you just want to protect her. I certainly feel what Changge feels for her now...Like you wanna toss her to the side but can't help but to care so much for her. After all she is trying her best to save her cousin, that count for a lot right.
What exactly can Shuyu do again??? sigh

Aww, that drinking game was so adorable. The little half truths and lies and how they busted eachother....That scene right there sold it Chemistry wise.
Now I feel like I have a love-hate relationship with Hao Dou. He really pi***s me off the way he is running around hunting for Changge like a dog that's been promised a bone. But then I kinda enjoy his moments with Li Yue Yan...he is adorable there....sigh

Haha, you made me laugh on "resident fetching dog". I agree with you, I'm like what is wrong with this guy. And it seems he knows it's wrong because you can sense his hesitation at times but then suddenly he is hell bent on killing FL. It's like he is possessed or something.
My theory is he hate Changge because he knows ShuYu likes her, the same ShuYu whom Li Yeu Yan likes and the latter he has a crush on. So I'm guessing is his scornful attitude to Shuyi is pretty much saying...how come the girl I like only has you in her eyes whilst you have eyes for someone else. So he can't get the girl (for now) and knows that the girl will be heart-broken in the end. It's more like a revenge thing where he now turns to kill FL to spite ShuYu.
Just my assumption.

Yep it seems that way but on the sec. FL side.

I thought I would give this one a try until I saw the ep. count. Oh No No! 45 ep. nothing new but unnecessary tons of break ups, love triangle or quadrangle, a list of romance rivals for FL or ML, useless misunderstandings...neither I say more.
Again, nothing new.

I don't know the source material and have only watched 4 ep. but I would say the story is very good so far. You get interested in everyone inc. the villains.
It's giving me off Princess Agents vibes but in a good way (ofc I don't hope for P.A ending in this)

Just watched 4 ep. of this and Oh My Days...I'm in trouble. The wait for subs is going to be painful.
This drama is superb. I just realised I haven't felt this exhilaration about a FL story since Princess Agents and Fuyao days and that's a long time ago. If I can describe this drama in one word is Balance. Everything is so well balanced that nothing interferes with the other and takes centre. Often times I have seen a drama where the acting sort of anchors the story which keeps me interested but here I intrigued by everything; from story, cinematography, directing, acting the pro and antagonists...like every detail.
And I gotta give credit to where it's due and say Dilreba is killing this role. Actually for me it's probably her best performance to date and just based on these 4 ep. (I know, she is really terrific here). I forgot that I'm watching Dilreba acting and just saw Changge and I'm rooting for her all the way.
And the villains are just fun to watch... Actually is it what it seems???
Now the wait for ep. 5 begins = me crying.

So are you telling me that it took Shu Wen Bo 30plus ep. to finally admit his feelings for XiaXia to her face or please tell me that ain't true????... (shocked)
Like WTH....even a snail is faster than him.

Leo Wu is a really good actor so I will check it out.
But why do I have a bad feeling about the Ending...sigh
I'm still mourning certain dramas that's just finished airing with sad endings so I'm not ready for another one.
I hope not.

I didn't say all BLs, I said this drama. For example, if the writer have XingSi and Yong Jie together in the end without addressing the latter's wrong doing then it's concerning. Because the message it's sending will be like...it doesn't matter what Yong Jie did because they are happily together in the end. Don't know about you but to me it's wrong. If they address this issue as a wrongful doing, that will be better and personally I wouldn't want them to end up together. So in a nutshell I will continue watching this with all it's shuddering-ness I feel in some scenes because I'm curious what this writer will do with this story.
And matter of fact, I love BL dramas and I just wish for them to be done right always.

On the positive he was not raped but it is still disturbing and sad that he was sexually harrassed by that pervy boss.

Not gonna lie, the things that this drama has portrayed are shuddering. And, I really don't like where things are going especially with the brothers because the writer seems to say, after all what Yong Jie did, he still will end up happily ever after with XingSi....like really.

Omg Shu Wenbo annoys me so much. From that moment he made an assumption that Xia Xia is a city girl therefore slutty, I cancelled him in my mind. He later apologised but, hell no...
I don't know what Xia Xia likes about him. I actually prefer the rich kid for her because at least he is direct amd goes for what he wants.

There is definitely some realism in this drama. Finally Ru Xie and Bai XiangWen are divorced. I say finally because I saw this from a mile away and it was only a matter of time. I'm usually not for women who don't tell their partner/ex- about their pregnancy but I understand Ru Xie in this case. If she had told XiangWen that she is pregnant whilst asking for divorce then he would not have agreed. He is the kind that will use the situation to their advantage.

Btw, why is this drama too long?? I thought it ends at ep. 43 but we are ep. 44 now and it seems it has 47 ep.

And I think this guy made me understand what the ish happened in the last few ep. because I got a little confused.

Omg! What is going on in ep. 37-40. Everyone is breaking up except for Ru Xie and Xiang Wen but they also have their own issues. It's like all the sweet candy scenes are gone and it's just depression left....sigh

Omg! Yes, I thought the same. It seems he is really suited for her but I gues in this case its The Heart Wants What It Wants so she chooses Duan Xu.
I like Duan Xu but I don't like his parents.
