Yeah XJ is around 34/35 as well in the drama.

Up to ep 6 and I really really like it. I love Xu Jie's layered character. She is not perfect but a flawed human. Due to whatever she experienced in the past, she has built up walls around her to protect herself. Then we have Song Xui whom she never saw coming I think. SX is trying his hardest to crack those walls and she might not admit it, but he is definitely rubbing off her. I actually never imagined this pairing and now I can't see anyone else. I love XJ and SX's banter plus the latter doesn't back down which I find really hot...I bet XJ thinks so too...hehe
I'm still not as invested in the FLs friendship or Chen Ran's story the same way but so far I love how they don't disrespect eachother just because they disagree on certain views. I could go on with what I love about this drama...so let me stop....huh

Okay, no doubt that many here inc. Myself and I love love this drama and probably started rewatching it (crazy, I know but it's really fun).
Buuuuuuut ep 31 & 32 had a bit of lazy writing in my opinion. For instance, the scenes of finding Princess Chun Run a husband....Did the other suitors had to quit or lose just like that. I mean we all know who the finalists were going to be but couldn't the writer at least had made a better story🤷 I mean watching everyone else dropping out like flies and making way for Lanxi and Huang Chang was fun but really pointless.
In ep. 32, I really didn’t understand 1) How BFX sect leader was so quick to tell YW everything about that jade with no ounce of hesitation whatsoever. I mean that jade is evidence and he finds out that it belongs to YW who happens to be from Yu family, who are associated with the soul taker group. And yet, he believed YW and told him everything. Tell me what was that because the Maths ain't mathing rn. Actually, I have been quite surprised by this sect leader's ready to trust anyone attitude and more so, how he managed to stay alive thus far.
Then, talk about his daughter, Langhua...Honestly I want to say, I could see her do that given what we have known of her character but then again, I can't help but to feel the writer could have done better.
These are some of the few points I felt could have have been written better in my opinion.
I'm still enjoying the ride though, like I'm all for our OTP to rule this world.

Okay, I watched the Trailer and I AM SOLD....I've been missing dramas like this this year, so I'm ecstatic for this one.

WTF are you on about...fake profile who??? And Hate where?? Yes, the CPR is lousy but no hate at all. In case you missed the LOL aka a joke....
And I would make the same statement to any drama with that kind of CPR.

Okay, this drama has the most horrendous, terrifying CPR I've ever seen. After seeing that kinda of CPR, I would run away as fast as possible from this hospital then report it for total closure plus reporting the doctors for murder.....LoL
The CPR the ML character does is not to save lives but Kill instead.
But seriously though, if you're going to act a role of a doctor, can't you at least learn the basics🙄

Maybe because in my long history of watching period dramas, I have learned that the one who walks around preaching about peace and harmony is the most evil.

I have a question:
If it turns out BFX is also Princess Xiyun won't it make past Queen Yige her aunt therefore cousin to Lanxi? Isn't princess Xiyun's father, Emporer of Dadong and brother of Queen Yige? Or I'm wrong.
I know, in this era the royal families would marry eachother etc. but if it turns out our OTP are cousins then I will have to deal with a little icky feeling.

Same, life is already full of sadness so a fantasy Happy Ending is all we need. But honestly as much as I hate sad endings, I can't stand the open ended endings especially ones with staring contest etc...yuck

I know, it's actually enjoyable or shall I say, looking at ZYC is enjoyable 😉 😄

Oh.. this drama has 22 ep. That's great, now I can watch it together with Who rules the World then. Plus this has more ep. already out= Yay for me.

I can say the Acting was the Highlight of this drama. YZ and XZ nailed it and the supporting cast was great too. The story was a hit and miss for me. There were moments I really liked (the leads relationship which looked so natural) and other stuff I didn't like or care about (the side couples) Tbh, if not for the lead actors, I would have dropped it so all is not lost, I guess.

And all The Writer needed to do was Turn that Rain Confession scene TRUE...
They are playing April's Fools Day on us and my patience is wearing thin.

I know that and QW knows that but that doesn't affect her from wanting things to have been different even if it's just a dream from coma. It's sort like the idea of What If this where to happen...what will you do? And that "What If" is what's interesting.

Omg! This took me by surprise in the best way possible. I was actually browsing for a little romcom, a break from crime dramas fest. And this popped up and I binged watched all 12 ep. in one day. It's very addictive and now, I impatiently wait for next ep. The main leads are perfect for the roles. I've always thought there is something special about Zi Tao's acting and in this, he is superb. His acting is very natural and if you didn't know better you would think you are watching his real self in a drama. Plus his voice is a blessing. Until now, I have not paid much attention at Zu Er but after this drama, I will watch out for her. She is also very good and her emotional expressions are very natural. I love her character and QW can talk for the world...hehe. The chemistry between LX and QW is incredible...you can't help but smile or laugh at their scenes. I quite like the story actually and maybe because it's many people's fantasy to go back in time and change things. How cool would that be? and I love how this drama answers this....

The best thing this Drama has going for it among others is ep. count. 12 ep. is great because it will avoid some unnecessary dragging and angst plus when it finishes, it will leave us yearning for more. Nothing is New at all about this drama but it's just FUN like literally a pick me up drama after a long exhausting realities of life.
