So I finished the Novel and dare I say...what a brilliant story from a genius writer. I started to wonder who the writer is, their lifestyle and what inspired this story. And that's when you know, the story is too good.
I'm looking forward to the drama now especially curious about certain characters who I began to love. Xue Meng stole my heart and I love his character development the most. I went from eye-rolling Na Gong Si to want to hug him. Ye Wan Xi is my other favourite. Shi Mei's character is the most complex and I'm curious how Sabrina will bring this multi-faceted character to life. I really like Sabrina so I'm a little hesitant to see her character since in the novel, I hated Shimei with passion (a lot of swear words and anger to Shimei).
Okay so are the leads fated or ill fated? If the ML remains by FL side helping her through the end but don't end up together, I will feel so sorry for him. It's one thing to lose the love of your life and another to lose the love of your life to another then remain in her life to protect her, until the end and still not get back with her. Oh that's just cruel....
Omg the behind the scenes for this drama is hilarious. I'm spending some time watching some clips whilst waiting for fairy Carmon (subber). The leads' chemistry goes beyond the drama. They are so comfortable with eachother, always laughing and goofy. Even skinship is so natural with them....they are actually hugging, leaning, piggybacking in bts. I'm noone to ship people so badly but I do for these two. The least is to become friends, right...well it seems they already are...
Okay, I might check this one out for Vain reasons...Simon Gong is so good looking; like he is straight from a magazine. Zhou Yu Tong is also gorgeous which makes them a good looking pair. Storywise, well it's nothing new but I will be admiring FL fashion sense. As I said...Purely Vain reasons..hehe
Just watched the trailer and somehow I really enjoyed it which is prompting me to watch. It's so hilarious in the trailer so no doubt I will have plenty of LOL moments. Have always been a fan of Leon Lai; there is something about his acting that's captivating (still swooning his character in Legend of Fuyao). Bai Lu never dissappoints, as aways.
The only disadvantage, is the timing of this drama, being that Love is Sweet is still airing. So if you're watching both dramas, one can't help but to compare the chemistry of the leads. Anywho, I'm still going to watch it with fresh pair of eyes and give it a fair chance.
P.S. Anyone know where to watch with Eng Subs please?
Don't know about Eugene (actually, I had forgotten her) but Lee Ji Ah and Kim So Yeon can act...I have followed their works and each time they show incredible acting skills which always leave me in awe. They both have the abilities to play an angel or the devil seamlessly.
Can any kind soul send me the link to read the novel with Eng translation pretty please??? I am on Chapter 139 and can't seem to find the continuation with decent translation. Thank you in advance
Why people hating chen feiyu playing mo ran character? Personally i think he fits the character, for those who…
I actually think Arthur Chen will do a great job as Moran (no doubt)...His character in Ever Night testify to that. He will do justice...and I really like his facial expressions especially when he is being mischievous (and oh boi Moran is full of mischief). I don't know but I really like when an actor grows and gets better and better with the story. WYB's character in The Untamed was kinda like that, where he got better and better as the story went showing his great effort ans skill...It's just appealing to me. The one I'm sceptical of but purely because I don't know his work is Leo Luo so I'm going to watch some of his dramas beforehand. Whilst reading the novel I have got quite protective of Chu Wanning character and would want someone who would express all his emotional conflict really well. I'm beginning to understand why Book Fans gets a little erratic when their fav novel is adapted into a drama. Because you would want actors to preserve the characters identity in the book.
If I had my way, I don't think I would turn this book into a drama. It's a bit complicated and too precious.
I was thinking something and I need your guys opinion. In the novel when moran and chu wanning gets intimate moran…
I would want that to happen too but Censorship is hot and heavy on these dramas so we will be extremely lucky if we hear Moran calling Chu Wanning any endearing name other than Shizun.
And can you Pretty Please Please tell me the link you read the novel if it has Eng Translation because I have just read up to Chapter 139 and can't seem to find a continuation with decent Translation.
