I have ben looking around for a drama similar to TMPB Eternal Love and this was recommended to me. Going by the posts, it seems to have a complicated plot. I was hoping for a clean plot with good yet short lines like TMPB. I hope this won’t disappoint.

By restricted I meant unavailable.

The drama is restricted in my region ( i.e. Japan) too on both Viki and iQIYI apps. But with VPN I can access it. Contents that are restricted in my region never show up on my paid apps but they do once I switch to VPN. Because of that I have watched many dramas using VPN.

iQIYI and Viki

It wasn’t until recently when I saw a random clip of this drama on youtube did I decide to give it a try. I have to say it's one of the best C dramas I have ever come across. Both cast and crew did an amazing job. The only issue I am having now is with the characterisation of the ML. I just cannot accept him after realising what his purpose is. He is despicable. While he seems to be in love with the FL and their chemistry seems to be on point, their love feels shallow and one sided. I cannot let go of the fact that their relationship is built on lies and deceit which will crush her later. It is very painful to watch their scenes together knowing that he is a psycho and I am not sure I can sit through 50 something episodes. I am feeling very sorry for the FL. The title of the drama is suggestive too.

Try iQIYI. The subs are consistent and more accurate. It seems that the sub team at Viki are volunteers. That may have been the reason why they skipped a few scenes. Maybe they got tired of it or felt the scenes had little bearing on the main plot. I don’t know; I am just making wild guesses here. Anyway, I am glad to hear that you enjoyed it as much as I did. It’s like discovering a rare gem, isn’t it? For me these past months had been filled with disappointments one after the other when it came to the new costume/Wuxia/love dramas.

I totally agree with you. I am now on episode 30.

I have been following Love a Lifetime and the recently aired Dance of the Sky Empire. Both are romance/Wuxia/revenge/supernatural drama.

I love everything about this drama. I went in without having a clue about the drama or the actors except that is it considered a sidestory to The Princess Weiyoung, So I did not have any expectations at all but it turned out to be one of the best C-dramas I have ever seen.
The only issue I had watching this was the inconsistent subtitles on Viki. There were many scenes without any subtitles in some of the newer episode even though it shows English sub as 100%. I even wrote a feedback to the Viki team. I hope it will be fixed.

Hi where can we watch Love in Between with Eng subs? Love a Lifetime suffers from poor writing, weak plot and directing. The fight scenes are prolly the best part, but other than that there is very little except Allen Ren to hold my interests. The chemistry between the two main leads are sadly missing even though they are about to tie the knot. Rong Su and Lu Yi did a much better job of delivering their emotions I think. But as the plot thickens, I am hoping for the best and will keep watching for now. Honestly some episodes were a real drag for me and the dialogues too long and a bit repetitive at times.
